I cannot scroll thru the rooms to select different rooms to chat in.
It acts like it is frozen.

Thank you I will try thstYou’re probably on a phone. And Literotica’s programming sucks.
Press “start a new chat room” (the heading, even though it’s not a button). But don’t actually start a new room, just try scrolling chat rooms afterwards. 8 times out of ten, this works.
2 times out of ten, not. When that happens, press the text box to start (as if you would type a new room name), but don’t. Press “start a new chat room” after. The screen zoom may change. Resize it, and now you can scroll rooms.
2b: maybe easier (this is an edit) - tap the heading “start a new chat room” quickly three times in a row like you’re mad at the button then try scrolling. 2a above works every time, but 2b is easier and faster, so try it first. It won’t always work though (although please post your experiences)
Yes, it sounds ridiculous. I know. It’ll work though. Read carefully. Try. It’ll work.
No worriesThank you I will try thst
Keep in mind this advice (cookies specifically) can/will mean losing all your stored passwords on the specific browser you’re using, and having to start over. So never do unless you are completely desperate AND have your passwords saved somewhere. You can also try trying to clear your cache and cookies and see if that helps. or pray to the dark lit gods. either or.
This bad advice A opem source browser that cares about your privacy and data like Brave or fire Fox ir gives options when cages should be cleared , or let choose what to delete as you as screenshot . Cache won’t be as potentially (catastrophic|inconvenient). Pick which word.
So don’t ever take this advice blindly. Perhaps once in a rare very rare scenario, it’s good advice, but people should instead say “delete the cookies for this site only, after carefully being sure you know the password.” Because there’s a way to do that in any browser. (Do a search). Other good tips are, install several browsers on your devices. Do any/all sordid-secret-life deeds on just one. Don’t intermix your your real life email with your SSL life. (Ha. You thought ssl was secure sockets layer, didn’t ya..
My strongly held opinion: don’t do this.

Waa lost after cleaning? How? Or why would you have your password all gone. You did not have a new tabi in ghost mode copy paste your password?

That one’s also on lit. I suspect happens to everyone. Keep hitting refresh/F5.When I try to log into to the chat rooms it says “internal server error” every time.
I’ll give it a try. Thank you! That one’s also on lit. I suspect happens to everyone. Keep hitting refresh/F5.
You will not lose any of your passwords if you go into advanced and uncheck them. I also have about 15 years of IT experience under my belt and i assume people who have had experiance with the internet can figure out how to do so with a quick google search. Or they can go to the threads I wrote up hereKeep in mind this advice (cookies specifically) can/will mean losing all your stored passwords on the specific browser you’re using, and having to start over. yes and the chat is full of bugs and people get booted all the time for no apperant reason...the chat is essentially being held together with old twine and dried chewing gum as is...we do not have a reliably working ignore button...if you choose to check your email while in chat you have a high chance of getting booted or what we call ghost banned to which the mods have to run the unban codes to allow them back in. We also find that if people are on mobile even if they only stay in chat...they get booted more often as well...So since I have been a chat mod since 2019 I can safely say...since I found no ban logs for them to try clearing your cache and cookies is the first thing we do as it is something we have found works. Also restarting your browser sometimes works...who know maybe sacrificing a chicken to the dark lit gods will fix it...we have had people do the same things for the same issues and seen different results but as we are not going so far as to go through what browser. what OS and all the things we don't have access to...clearing ones cache and restarting your browser seems to work about 80% of the time...so please forgive me if I was not clear enough for your pedantic liking. It’s like “restart your computer” and “defrag your hard drive”. It’s advice that isn’t entirely wrong, but isn’t entirely right.
I challenge you to clear all your cookies on your main browser and say it was convenient for you afterwards. It’s bad advice, especially to give to inexperienced users.
Your two linked articles are good and helpful, nice job. They did not address non-scrolling room lists, though.
And if you can say delete cookies, you can say “delete cookies just for the site you’re having trouble with”.
I’m trying to say, when inconsiderate tech support people give bad advice that’s hugely inconvenient and harmful to the sometimes inexperienced souls they are allegedly helping, it’s wrong and bad...clearing ones cache and restarting your browser seems to work about 80% of the time...so please forgive me if I was not clear enough for your pedantic liking.
Also as someone who has worked for 7 different ISP's and a printer company...its shocking how often a restart actually fixes the issue.
