I remember years ago when yahoo messenger was the king of all chat programs, You could search for members by area and by interest then they cut out search that you had to know the exact name or email of a person to search . then the chat rooms got eliminated, was a great tool for meeting people, but now that is all gone, is there any programs left out there to be able to find people to chat with?

I mean... every social media has a chat function? Also, there's discord, and every video game in existence. Amebo is a thing but I think it's mostly young people. Some older folks still use skype- they use the HELL out of facebook and aggravate the shit out of people. You have to download facebook messenger to talk to your family because your granny ain't gonna figure out discord. It's not gonna happen. There's not a huge difference. I don't understand why it's hard.

You can do any number of chat roulette things if you're so lonesome you will take anyone and don't want to deal with things like finding discord groups that share your interests.

Wasn’t yahoo the service that the NSA watched people through their webcams?

yahoo chat rooms were great if you were a big fan of neo-nazis trying to recruit teenagers.
