Chat or BB?

I choose the BB also. There are a lot people typing at once in the chatroom and the scroll moves too fast for my dumb-ass brain and my big-ass fingers can't type fast enough to keep up!

Cast my vote for the BB

I much prefer the BB over the chat room...I tried the chat room a couple of times and I hated getting bombarded with all of the PM's and having to keep saying no because I just wanted to chat with the group, or just be an observer. So I prefer this alot more because I can respond if I chose to, put some thought or not into my response, or I can just come in and read only which alot of the time is mostly what I like to do!

The BB

I'd have to go with the BB also. I just hate it when all the girls just want to use me for sex;-} OK OK I'm just to slow to keep up with the chat. By the time I've figured out who said what, it's to late to join in. The slower pace of the BB is much more my speed.

Another, as yet unmentioned point in favour of the BB is it's international aspect. You yanks didn't think you were alone did you? Given that I can post a message that can be seen by someone who habitually gets up 6 hours later that me and isn't called lazy means that I have a far more broader range of views at my disposal. It's a pity that the BB is at present largely Americo-Anglo-germanic at present, let's hear what everyone alse has to say!

Hmmmm.... I think i saw that chat link a couple of pages back. I came here first (that was yesterday). I like it here although things seem a bit tense at the moment (not a complaint....just an observation). I think I'll wander over there and see what's happening. Another really slow typer

I don't get in chat rooms,just for the simple fact that I'm one SLOWWWWW ass typer.

I hear of people saying,"Oh I can type 120 words a minute!"

Well let me tell ya right now,"I can type 4 words a minute,if there short words,and 2 words a minute if there long words!"(LOL!)

Are you looking over my shoulder? Not only am i slow but I can't spell with a damn, and the bb gives my the chance to edit my post so I only look like half a fool.

Of course, I would choose the BB over a chatroom if I had to decide where to allot my time, but there is definitely something to be said for the real time spontaneity and sometimes outrageous fun that can be had in a chatroom.

I used to be quite the chat whore when I first discovered the internet, and even became one of the more well known regulars in a certain AOL chatroom. It was great fun, and amazingly, the camaraderie and support between the regulars there follows much along the same lines of that which can be found here among our long time members.

Being that a chatroom is in real time, the dynamics are different, of course, but I relish the challenge in that.

When I go to make a response here on the BB, I sometimes find that since I don't have to come up immediately with a response (I have all the time in the world to write it...well, almost), that maybe I try too hard sometimes...that I don't always just say the first thing that pops into my head (which is usually the funniest and most "honest"), but instead think,

"Okay...now would it be funnier if I said it this way?...or maybe that way?....hmmmmmm....crap....am I gonna offend anyone using THAT word?....this is a sex site siwwy!....oh....yeah....I fergetted....why did I HAVE to have that 3-cheese lasagne for lunch??....you should be in bed young lady!....oh! don't forget to make that word bold, italicized and CAPITALIZED for no reason whatsoever....*hehehe*, man am I a sicko for thinking this twisted shit up or what!...*delete, delete, delete*....alrighty then...I think we're a go...HEYYYYY POSTER POSTER....HEYYYYY POSTER....SUBMIT!....SUBMIT POSTER....submit...."

Alright...so maybe it's not THAT involved everytime I post something, but I do tend to put alot of thought into each one and in the way I word those thoughts. It's a representation of who "Lovely Latina" is...one that will remain here for all of BB history.

In a chatroom, my mind goes on "auto improv mode"...it's always churning away and never stops. There's about a 1.675-second delay between thinking of a comment to something that's been said and typing it. At the risk of sounding boastful, I have to say that I'm sometimes amazed at the great one-liners I'm sometimes able to come up with in there. I get on a roll and just can't stop. It's a fantastic way to work on your quick thinking skills.

Yes...you do sometimes have to wade through all the moronic "age/sex/location/genital size/yearly income/wanna cyber?" BS, but when you find a room with some great personalities in it, it's an absolute blast! I spent a little time in one just last night out of boredom and had some of the heartiest laughs I've ever had. It's pretty hard not to LYAO when you see:

MASSIVE ERECTION has entered the room.
MASSIVE ERECTION has left the room.
MASSIVE ERECTION has entered the room.

He just kept goin' in and out!! LMAO

They both have their finer (and not so fine *smirk*) points, BUTTTTT...the Literotica BB wins out every time.

And dont forget the Danes, Canadians, Aussies and New Zealanders, the South Africans, Indians and Latin Americans, and native AmerIndians (sp) who post here either.

I drift between both the chat and the BB, as Lovely Latina says they suit different functions at different times.

It also depends on how many IM sessions I am in at the same time.
