I think that would depend on the discussion... I'm thinking It'd probably be inappropriate to give my opinions on ohh, let's say, the presidential election, during an erotic chat.

I'm being nit-picky aren't I?

Honestly, I think I feel more open, and able to express myself one on one, as opposed to a BB or a chat room, if that's what you're asking?

Both are good but I myself prefer the BB more then the chat. Not realy sure why but I just like the BB way more for some reason.

I don't get in chat rooms,just for the simple fact that I'm one SLOWWWWW ass typer.

I hear of people saying,"Oh I can type 120 words a minute!"

Well let me tell ya right now,"I can type 4 words a minute,if there short words,and 2 words a minute if there long words!"(LOL!)

But actually prefer the chatroom. Anyone who goes in for personal attacks soon gets booted out of there by the CM,s. And if someone just plain gets on your nerves there's always the ignore button. The trolls soon give up once no one answers.
Just wish the download didn't take so long.

I like them both, but I think of the BB as more of a refuge from the "hey baby, can I put my cream on your muff..in" comments. Or the "why is your muffin killer?"

I like the BB. I can talk with more people on a wider variety of subjects. One of the problems of the chat rooms is that some people don't know when to quit. I don't want to hear "wanna cyber" within 2 minutes of logging in. I also think there are more interesting people on the BB than in the chat room, no offense to the chat room regulars, JMO.

The only problem with typing that fast, is that I can't find any of the words I type at that speed in the dictionary.

I prefer the BB for two reasons.

1: I can think about what I'm typing, how it's spelled, and if it's what I really want to say. There's no time pressure because someone is waiting breathlessly for my wit and wisdom.

2: On the BB I don't have to be on when an interesting subject comes up. I can read and reread whot others have to say, and plan a post at my leisure. I can wait days, or evn months before putting my two cents in.

I was addicted to the chat rooms last year. I'd chat for an hour or so with several people I liked. No cyber sex, but a lot of flirting.

I got very tired of it, though. Most of the people I liked either moved on or came to the Board, and I realized that the number of topics you could discuss in any detail there was very limited. It got to the point where all I was doing was giving the trolls and PMing Pervs hell, which was fun, but also got old fast.

I've gone back a couple of times, but I'm really too busy to spend fifteen minutes trying to find one person who doesn't want to talk about how big everyone's dick is. Oh, those people are there, discussing politics and religion and everything we talk about here, but it's just hard to find them.

Still, if you've never done it, give it a shot. It can be a rush.

I get my jolliess doing the BB and icq thingy. So not only do I get to read and post meaningful entries here, I can be flirting my butt off at the same time. It does start taxing my brain when I'm trying to hold 4 conversations, read an intelligent thread and trying to post a somewhat thoughtful answer. Why did I smoke that pot in HS? I could really use the brain cells now!

I've tried the chat room here twice; each time I got motion sickness and left. Too many people, too fast, and while I type quickly, I like to think about it first.

I prefer the BB. For chat, I prefer ICQ. Or, at this moment, the telephone.

I used to be a 'regular' in the chatroom, but I then found the BB! It's just so much better. There are always too many people in chat asking stupid questions like 'wanna fuck?' and trying thier hardest to get you to cyber with them. So I resorted to playing with my 'victims', I would get them hot, and hard...then I would just chop thier dick off. Then they started to like it!!! Thats when I said there has got to be more. Thats where the BB came into view. I only go to chat once in a great while now. Mostly just for a few good laughs.

I just hope it wasn't some of you that have had the pleasure of my wrath.

I too, have frequented the Literotica chat, and I think I prefer the BB. I have only been to the chat a few times, but it gets overwhelming because so many want to cyber. I love making new friends, but I guess in there, you are only supposed to have sex.

I find myself in the Authors room alot, in hopes of finding other authors to talk too, but it hasn't happened yet. I have to say, I have made a few real good online friendships in there, so it does happen. Every now and again, you find someone that is not just interested in one thing only. Sex.

I love the BB, and I only wish somehow I could chat with those that are actually online. I remember, Laurel saying that this might be an option in the future. Guess time will tell.
