Chastity cage comfort

Apologies if this thread exists elsewhere but my partner recently gave me a chastity cage (it's for fun, we aren't into D/s) but while it's comfortable overall, being circumcised the sensitive end of my cock sometimes protrudes and gets agonisingly trapped/rubbed against the material of whatever I'm wearing. NOT sexy!
Is this something you just get used to or are there any good tips (ha ha) to stop this happening?
