It's a huge onion split into many sections so it looks almost like a flower. It's dipped in breading and deep fried....then set on a plate with a spicy sauce in the center. You tear off little petals of the onion and dip. They're sooooo good!

Good lord - that sounds fun - I will have to try something like that - soon
