I tried to explain to my best friend what a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree looks like the other day. I couldn't believe I'd seen something on TV that she hadn't. The best thing I could come up with to describe it was to say "It has like 5 skinny arms coming out of it" but then I got a visual image of 5 skinny human arms sticking out, and it all went to hell from there.

*sigh*

I did just tell her that it's on tonight, so she can see for herself.
