I have seen a whole buncha stories on Chyoo that have no ratings on them. Even if they are good stories, since no one reviews them they never recieve much attention from readers v.v I think it would be a nice little community offering to go into these sadly forgotten stories and give the authors a few comments to encourage them to keep writting.

As an aspiring writer (With bad spelling :p), i know that a little encouragement goes a long ways :D I dont think anyone here doesnt like to get a nice little pat on the back sometimes. If each of us give a small comment on a story every day, then it would help perk up the community a bit.

Another benifit i can think of it would be increased views for your stories. If you sign the comment, maybe the person who wrote the story you comment on would return the favor with a comment of thier own. Maybe even write a thread or two for yours too. It might liven up the thread-making process in Chyoo.

Well, thats just my two cents. I think this might have already been posted somewhere else, but i just wanted to make sure it was posted somewhere ^.^

I like that idea, and I'd be up for that. In fact, I might find your story and leave feedback. Generally what happens is that if you want feedback (i.e. if you are a new writer) you post here and ask for it. I think it would be great for more people to just leave it spontaneously, but perhaps if you posted a link to your sotry here, it might encourage others to read and review.

I would love to see more of a community spirit in CHYOO, but I think that currently the biggest hindrances to that is the fact that there is no link from CHYOO to the forums. I think quite a few CHYOOsters are unaware of this place. :(

The idea doesn't sound bad... I'd like to see somebody do a weekly story review where they pick a story and write a review of it and post it on the forum. Maybe call it something like, "the good, the bad and they horny" or "The Chyoo Weekly Review."

It's just an idea, if somebody wants to do it. It would be nice if the lit forum moderators could make the review post "sticky" so it stays at the top for a while.

Done.

I just created The CHYOO Review with its first review of Prisoner of Tau-Ceti Two. Feel free to add other reviews.

promblem is chyoo doesnt tell you when you get a new review

so not sure it will encourage writer who havent been here in a while unless the check.

It doesn't tell you (via email), but it does bump the story to Latest. I just check for red circles or go straight to a reverse date sorted list of that stories threads.
