Promenade (aka the hall down the middle of the mall)

• As of Day 1 (Thanksgiving Day), the promenade is open to the Walkers.
• It is believed that the exterior door to the east of The Brick (near Admin, which itself is on the 2nd floor), is open, possibly allowing Walkers direct access to the promenade via the north-south running service hallway between Suites 210 and 220.

Suites by number (with business names):

• 191, Bootlegger:
  • Casual clothing store.
  • Day 1:
    • Morning: employees were present to decorate.
    • After Walkers arrival: no sign of/sound from employees; gate IS down.
• 260, Tots Treasure Trunk:
  • Secondhand children's clothing store.
  • Day 1:
    • Morning: employees were present to decorate.
    • After Walkers arrival: no sign of/sound from employees; gate is NOT down.
• FRC, Family Resource Center:
  • Resource provider to families from prenatal to Age 5. (Link to their website)
  • Day 1:
    • Before the mayhem of the Walkers:
      • Manager Peter Jacobs and another FRC employee, Wilma, were there.
      • They were providing not their regular services but daycare instead for the children of the mall employees there that day to decorate.
      • Peter remained at the FRC to watch the children while Wilma went to the Food Court to hear Security Supervisor Carl Henry speak about the problems outside the mall.
      • Kara Wilson, Peter's longtime friend and love interest, had come to her place of employment, Paris Jewelers, to decorate. Instead, she learned that she'd been fired after rebuffing her 60+ year old manager's sexual advances. Kara had come down to cry on Peter's shoulder.
    • When the shit hit the fan:
      • Peter and Kara put the children in the backroom, which has no windows. A television playing a loud animated movie covered the mayhem outside.
      • Wilma never returned, nor did any of the parent of the children.
    • Later that evening:
      • Kara seduced Peter, something he was more than willing to partake in.
      • However, they were interrupted by gunfire as Security Supervisor Carl Henry and Rick's Outdoors and Sports employee Paul Granger tried (successfully) to clean Walkers from an exterior door to close and lock it.
      • Their intimate session ended, Kara returned to the children and Peter went outside to check on the Walker battle.
      • Peter was killed and eaten just outside the FRC.

Jared Taylor

Description:

• 20 years old.
• 5'10", 175#; slim, fit.
• Blonde, blue-green eyes.

Personality:

• Quiet but not introverted.
• Hard worker.
• Not a ladies man, but also not a virgin. Not much has been said yet but soon I would expect.

History:

• Graduate of Springfield Union High School.
• Since graduation, been going part time to City College, a Community College.
• He began working at Dollarama since the previous Christmas season. Was supposed to be just a holiday job, but he liked the work, the extra money, and the girls at the mall.

Experiences during the roleplay:

• Day 1:
  • He was in Dollarama Thanksgiving Day when the shit hit the fan. (The excitement begins at Post #5.)
  • When the Walkers arrived at the Food Court doors, he returned to Dollarama.
  • He and the others inside Dollarama saved Rose McDaniels when she came running through the mall, pursued by Walkers. Unfortunately, the Walkers got her boyfriend, Roger, before they could get him under the gate. (His corpse was out in front of the story last time I checked this profile.)
  • Later that day, he and the others saved Kimberly "Kimmie" O'Connor (who is introduced here in Post #19.)
  • Later again, he and Abigail "Abby" Reed made out.
• Day 2:
  • While at a meeting of survivors at The Brick, he and Abby (who chose to sleep there that night) made out again. (This is still ongoing, so I don't know how far it's going to go.)
