Chapter re-submission question

I've posted the first chapter of a story. The following night I sent in Chapter 2, the night after that I sent in Chapter 3, the night after that I sent in Chapter 4. However, Chapter 2 was rejected because of a technicality. I fixed the technicality and re-submitted it.

Chapters 3 and 4 were still pending. My question is, would they post Chapters 3 and 4 if Chapter 2 hasn't been posted yet?

That's a really good question. Laurel is very good at what she does and I'd say "no way" if I had a say in this.

My guess would be "yes." There are too many stories going through for the site editors to keep track of parts and get them in order--I've had parts run in the wrong order when I've submitted them a day apart, so now I don't submit one until the previous one has been posted. My suggestion would be that you delete chapters 3 and 4 until chapter 2 has been straightened out and has posted.

That was my thinking as well.

Thank you for the information.

In case anyone is checking back here, just thought you'd like to know that chapter 2 got rejected on a technicality, and chapters 3 and 4 were then rejected to keep the series in order. The technicality thing was irritating, but I like that they didn't post the third and fourth chapter to keep the order integrity.

Thanks. It's good to know how that works. Hope you get them all up soon.

Site editors? Laurel is a one-woman show. How she manages to keep on top of it I don't know, but it's all her.

If you believe that one person reads 50+ Lit stories every day, 365 days a year, then what do you think that does to "her" mind? Even in the old days when names like Mollie Lee *** and ******* Media were in use, virtually nobody believed that Mollie ran this site singlehandedly.

And the other other half of site admin "Manu" is definitely more than one person, because I have had replies to technical problems which come from different members of the team, and say as much.

I see my post has been censored (where the asterisks appear) to hide the name of the person who owns the trademark rights in the word Literotica, and the company which was involved in a domain name dispute over literotica-us.com, both of which anybody can find by googling literotica +court. I am sure that this posting also will be censored, but do the site owners really think they can hide from any halfway educated web user?
