So lingerie isn’t worthy of rope work? Please explain to the newbie of ropes….

I suppose that would depend on the lingerie in use and what exactly is being tied. Corsets fit the theme due to their confining nature, so it would add a little something to someone, say, bound at the wrists and ankles but nowhere else. Doing full shibari overtop the corset not only makes no sense, but also has the possibility of them slipping out of it or, if it were too tight to prevent that slippage, reduce their ability to breathe.

At least… that’s where my particular pervy, deviant brain goes when thinking upon it. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Thanks for explaining that!

*hands you my rope* 🄰

What are your Christmas Eve plans and traditions?

Normally, it would be Christmas at my mother’s house today. But where all the ā€œkidsā€ are now young adults, they all work today, so that will be tomorrow. Instead, today will be Christmas at my mother-in-law’s.

My mother-in-law has this tradition where everyone goes around the room saying what they are thankful for this year. She always looks to me to make some big speech, but honestly, I’m not feeling it this year. It’s been a rough one. Obviously, I can’t speak on what I’m actually thankful for, which is all of you guys. That could get awkward in front of the Freewill Baptists in the room. 🤣

Interesting.

As a different take, replace the regular corset with a waist cincher or a cupless corset. Use a simple breast tie or if you wanna be fancy a pentagram tie (I am way too blinded by boobs for complex knots at that pont....I mean, corset!)...apply tge crotch rope of your choice to her pantie-less bottom, happy knots to suit. You can run the crotch rope up to a wrist cuff knot if yiu want her on her back or a reverse prayer if you are going to have her on her stomach.

You both get to enjoy the corset (i know a couple of women who get wet just putting one on, and well...its a corset, so I am going to be hard), it eliminates the problem you mentioned (which I never thought of) but fulfils Brend's wish fir lingerie bondage.

This is the general idea, but I don't like stiff wire...

Two words, Bro: "Double EntendrƩ"...the family will think it wonderful that your friends include tamed beasts and adventurous souls, exploring new horizons. And they will love that friends are willing to submit to your needs...

Can confirm. 😁

But yes, you want something durable. Those satin/silk babydolls and chemises are just going to get tore up. Unless you do something like a traditional hogtie. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Good morning Strix and the rest of Chaos. I am up early to start Christmas eve cooking. I am making a TourtiĆØre, a traditional French Canadian meat pie for Christmas Eve.

What are your Christmas Eve plans and traditions?
It's filled with traditions! It's mostly family time, in some cases many generations, uncles and gran aunts etc. This year I go to my parents and I even take my chosen daughter with me (she's only 18 and doesn't want to visit he biological parents). My sister arrived yesterday already. Just adults nowadays, my other sister is staying at home with her family.

At noon the Christmas Peace was declared. It used to happen everywhere in the history - nowadays it's in one city only, I've seen it there live twice, but it's also shown in TV and radio. My goal is to not need to leave the house after that, except for going for the finner.

Usually I have rice pudding and plum kissel for lunch, maybe some gravlax sandwiches as well. (Today I fell asleep again and don't have time to cook the pudding.)
Christmas Eve dinner is quite a thing. Pork ham is the king in 75% of the families here. In our family not too big - I'd guess my parents only bought some 3kg ham this year. And mustard, even sauce today go with it.
We have potato, carrot and rutabaga casseroles that are very old tradition, from the time when the country was poor. They are rather sweet. Easy to do at home, but the store bought ones are good too and if you cook them yourself you end up with quite a lot...
Rosolli is a traditional salad made with cooked beetroot, herring etc, and served with whipped cream. Not my favourite, but brings nice colour to the table. @Cogan would recognise this I believe... The name is a bit different in Swedish, but I think the dish exists in Sweden too.
Maybe some liver pate. Fish. Roe, gravlax, cold-smoked salmon, maybe smoked fish, pickled herrings... But we save hot fish dishes for another day in my family.
Some families skip the fish. Some have other meat dishes as well - my late husband wanted meatballs, and some years I've made cheese myself.
Served with rye bread, the kind they do in the archipelago is popular. I make mine myself to get gluten free. I just tried a new recipe and tasted one bit yesterday, it's better than I expected!

And then some baked goodies for dessert, with coffee. The dessert part is less filled with traditions, and they also vary more from year to year and family to fsmily. My personal tradition is a yoghurt-lemon-cake. There is a certain kind puff pastry that is traditional, looks like a star with a jam heart (plum, or apple, usually). Gingerbread, you just can't avoid it 😁 If I have energy, I may try something completely nee. Many people do gingerbread houses, I am planning on a chocolate house this year!

We usually exchange gifts after dessert. After that people tend to switch to something comfy, or at least have woollen socks (maybe brand new ones?), some start reading what they just got. Have some glƶgi (may be mulled wine or non-alcoholic version) and maybe some blue cheese on a ginger bread at some point.

There was a time I used to sing carols with my sister while preparing the dinner, but now I am to hoarse to be able.

Oops, that was longer than I thought. But there's one more tradition: visiting the cemetery. It's based on pagan traditions that were a bit more serious at this time of the year. But imagine one or several candles or lanterns on every grave, in the snow, when it's dark! It's so pretty. I'm not sure if I'm able to to today, but if I do I may snap a photo for you. Ob the countryside we had 5 graves to put candles on. This year I only leave a candle to the monument to those buried elsewhere. (It's a thing here, partly because of this candle tradition - every graveyard has one, even if it's only a simple cross.)

Well, see, adventure is fun and fun is a sin, as is treating an animal as anything but an animal, and the only acceptable submission is to God. So…

ā€œI’m thankful for my new friends whom I occasionally take a new person to the movies with.ā€

Shit. Going to the movies is ā€œfunā€ too. Back to the drawing board…
