I had a root canal done about 10 years ago. I remember it was vaguely unpleasant, but not the screaming, torturous agony its been made out to be. I did have some very good drugs, though. I'm hoping this is like that.

yeah, this was not. I was 16 or 17 as well. My coworkers made many a chipmunk joke. I even got chipmunk themed gifts. Yeah, my friends have always been assholes, I love them for that.

I've had my all wisdom teeth pulled out, and a year ago even one which according to the dentist wouldn't have survived long even after root canal job.

Very good meds, and was surprisingly fast job. It's the afterwards that may be not so nice. The bone may ache. The first time I think I got Panacod for the first 3 days, then just ibuprofen + paracetamol. And food tries to get in there. You also better skip all crumbly or sharp foods for a while. Though you'll notice soon...

Yikes! Makes my teeth ache in phantom rememberance of the event. 😱

All mine were done at once. Felt like I been in a barfight and lost.

Exactly this. It may not be as familiar to the mainly US audience here but I heard the other day that the Oasis album Definitely Maybe will be 30 years old next year.

This album was the soundtrack to my early teenage years and it made me feel very old.

Yes! That would be great! Send me any recipes you’d like to share. With a photo if you have one and I’ll make the recipe card for it and get it posted. We are posting a few recipes a day and want everyone to have their recipes up. The cards take a little bit to make but I’ll be working to have them done as soon as possible.
