Chaos... to be continued

RI as well.
They were just debating a bill to allow grocery stores, wholesale clubs, etc to sell booze but the liquor store owners are pushing back hard.
Are there any places that allow alcohol? There are more grocery stores that allow it here now, but they must be limited to a certain number in a certain area. They built a new Trader Joe's on the other side of the city from the one I was at and moved the alcohol there :(

Just liquor stores now I believe. I remember as a kid that some drug stores could sell it, because they used to cover it up on Sundays.

I think that's still the case everywhere in Texas. Can't buy liquor on Sundays, but you can buy beer, wine, etc.
No, when I say alcohol, it means ALL. No beer, wine, etc. on Sundays! At least that's how it used to be here.

And for the most part, no beer, wine, etc. in anything but a liquor store, except for some special exceptions.

I can’t go grocery shopping on Sundays here, let alone buy alcohol. Shops are not allowed to open on a Sunday in Germany. Konrad Adenauer decided on that and the Nazis enforced it and it has never been changed ( and it is unlikely to ever change)

Yeah, I think I woke up because of that too. I don't know what happened yesterday but despite having slept enough, I went to bed too early and didn't eat. So I woke up now and I'm hungry.
I think I'm going to eat a Pizza. :D
Enjoy dear.:rose:
But watch that 5 AM breath...woah.😋

This is something new I'm learning today

Lit is not just for source for flicking bean, it's also source of knowledge

Just thinking about my friends who chat on Discord while we're playing online games. I know waaay too much about their pets from all the times they get demanding in the middle of a dungeon crawl or something. :)
This is why I don't call people when I'm walking the dog, which seems like it would be an ideal time. They's just get bits of chat among the "No, no eating grass please!" "Nope, you can't steal that tennis ball!" "Lady, come on, we're going this way!" etc. :ROFLMAO:

Most of the shops and supermarkets are close on Sunday here too. Not all of them though.

Used to be like that here (RI, USA) but those laws probably changed back in the 70s.
