It's not so bad if you can find a few topics of interest to participate in. If you're into role play or open sewer discussion, there are other forums on this site that are extremely active and will boost your post count quickly.

That being said, avatars are highly over rated, as are the tag lines that go under them. Don't worry about it, you'll have 100 posts soon enough.

If you're dying to get an AV right away, you can do so in under an hour by posting to any of the mindless game threads in the Playground.

Of course, anyone who looks at your post history will see you've chosen to go for quantity over quality posts if you go that route, and it might give them a bad impression of you (the same goes for having most or all of your posts in AmPics or a fetish thread like "Incest is Best").

If you post consistently to a variety of threads you're interested in, you'll get AV privileges quicker than you think .
