Chain Story Idea....

My Aries story is done but I'd still like to see the poems for Aries and Libra.

aries

Tempermental Aries

Who works from morn to set of sun?
And never likes to be outdone?
Whose walk is almost like a run?
Who? ---Aries!

Introspective Libra

Who puts you off with promise gay,
and keeps you waiting half a day?
Who compromises all the way?
Sweet, Libra!

Doc, I'm so envious... I still have to finish my Aquarius by tomorrow. The story's growing on me. :(

Astrology may not be very useful in predicting things, but as a descriptive science—a way of describing personalities--I think it’s very useful and extremely interesting. I think you can paint a clearer idea of a person’s personality and character using the language of astology that you can using any kind of psychological description.

Anyhow, I’m really looking forward to seeing some of these stories.

Hey Dampy, can you put the poems up for Pisces and Gemini?

Thanks!
CM (whose Pisces story is giving her fits :()

did anyone else want to see the Cap story... since at my last checking it had not been approved to post yet....

 :(

Yes, please, Elizabetht. Send me the cap story. Thanks love :rose:  :rose:

Taurus and Scorpio

Headstrong Taurus

Who smiles through life-except when crossed?
Who knows, or thinks he knows, the most?
Who loves good things: baked, boiled or roast?
Oh, Taurus!

____

Ultimate Scorpio

Who keeps an arrow in his bow,
And if you prod, he lets it go?
A fervent friend, a subtle foe-
Scorpio!

(I kind of like the one for Scorpio :) )

doc, we're putting the rhymes just before the story starts, in italics, so it doesn't actually have anything to do with the story. You can still add it before the story when you sibmit. :)

Pisces and Gemini CM

Soulful Pisces

Who prays, and serves, and prays some more:
And feeds the begger at the door-
And weeps o'er loves lost long before?
Poor Pisces!
____

Worrisome Gemini

Who's fond of life and jest and pleasure;
Who vacillates and changes ever?
Who loves attention without measure?
Why? Gemini!

(CM, My Aquarius is giving me trouble too. It has decided to go on and on and on... I've been at it for four days now!)

You might want to PM Laurel and tell her that there's a chain story going on and we want it to post on specific days and request her to post them as in the schedule you write out. Laurel usually encourages chain stories. :)

I wish that was my problem. I haven't been able to come up with a good storyline. Everything I write gets deleted cause it's utter crap :(. I've got one last idea, and I am hoping it will take wings and fly.

Since on the site that Elizabeth sent, the Pisces is described as imaginative, impulsive, and inuitive, I am going to have her meet a guy at a dance club and go spend the weekend with him despite warnings of her friends (playing on the impulsive part obviously and maybe her intuition saying that she would be safe with him and that the weekend would be very... interesting). Hopefully it will shape up, though it may be a little late in being submitted, but only by a day or so.

CM

edited: OOPS, nevermind about it being late. I was looking at the wrong day. I have six more days before it has to be submitted, phew! lol

Six more days. She's going to write six stories in six days. I just know it!

My Aquarius is finally over and I'm editing it today and submitting it tomorrow. Not totally happy with the way it's turned out because I had to resist a very big urge to go on writing it. *sigh* But as I am already a day late, it's going to be submitted tomorrow.

Progressing...

My `Virgo` story is progessing and should be ready next week. My! This is fun! ;)

I am really glad that everyone seems to be enjoying writing their Zodiac Girls. Thank you dr_m for the idea.

I completely agree. It is the only element of astrology that fascinates me, and is often eerily spot on.

Thanks for suggesting this Dr. M. and huge thanks to Elizabeth for posting this thread and administrating us so well.

Dampy, could you post the poem for Sagittarius, please? I've made a start on my story, and would love to add the poem into mine, too. One question, though (and I might've missed this), but is there any copyright associated with the poems? If so, who do we credit them to?

Thanks, in advance,

Lou :rose:

Pursuing Sagittarius

Who always keeps a star in sight?

Sagittarius!

Lou, I don't think there's a copyright. I found them in an old booklet which is falling apart. There's nothing worth salvaging except these little poems which are good. There's no cover or any hint of an author on those pages... and I don't even think it's a published book. Just some pages put together, almost a pamphlet.

You started Sagi?? You're last in line!! God! You people are great. *sigh*

Cheer me. I so desperately need it. Maybe then I'll be able to get it done before the deadline. :(

thinks good thing she left on her bloomers

Dampy Dampy she's our girl If she can't do it then well heck we are screwed. LOL.

Go gettem...... GOOOOOO GIRLLLLLLL.
