Chain Story Idea ... Any takers?

I'm working on mine, too. I need to find a new copy of my mythology book...the one I have doesn't have the Pygmalian story in it. Fucker.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted and I'm gonna bump this project ahead of the others I have waiting. Except for my editing....I don't want to get lynched over that lapsing.

Wow ... y'all must think by now that I've fallen off the proverbial turnip truck! Being a school teacher, right now is crazy and my attention has been directed in other directions lately. (The kids come back to class in 2 days!)

Even so, don't despair ... I haven't forgotten about this chain. Dar, your story was great. Thank you for posting here so we all knew it was done. Like cloudy, I'm almost done with my first story so it should be up soon.

I know that most chain stories have schedules and if that is what the majority wants, then sure ... I can get some help to post one. Please let me know if you want a set schedule or not and we'll go with majority rules.

I don't mind you doing a story on Pygmalian but you might want to check with RedHairedandFriendly ... they had requested that particular story first and is already on the list. That way your stories don't wind up being basically the same ...

i love greek mythology and i was wondering if it would be ok if i wrote for this chain too! i've ctually GOT a story out about Dionysus and Ariadne that i wrote for the Non-Human category =P I LOVE Greek Mytholoy...

anyway, if it's ok i'd like to write a couple stories... although they're not on the list.

I want to write about Aphrodite cheating on Hephastos with Ares and then Hephastos catching them, and i'd also really like to write about Paris and Helen - the whole Troy thing...

is that ok??

So for some reason I thought that I'd asked to do Zeus and Hera rather than Paris and Helen (although I still want to do them too!) and so i submitted a story yesterday on them... I just checked the chain program and it wasn't one that I had requested to do but i hope it's ok anyway. and i'm in the middle of Paris and Helen and i THINK that Aphrodite's Affair should be out tomorrow or the day after. =)

Mine aren't hardly started. Deadalus turned into a stylistic exercise- I have to either re-write it or put in some really hard work to finish it. Like read a bunch of Keroac and Ginsburg, and maybe Burroughs... the Beats.

Yay!! My schedule finally ironed out some and I finished my first story about Persephone and the Seasons.

I submitted it just a few minutes ago so hopefully it will be up and running soon. Sorry to keep everyone waiting!
