Ugh - this morning I was meeting a friend of mine for breakfast. I was running late. I was speeding. 106 km/hr in a 70 zone. While it was raining. I normally don't speed, but the highway (with a limit of 100 km/hr) had just turned into a 70 zone as it was entering the city, and I hadn't slowed down yet.

And yes, I got nabbed
It should have been so much worse, but I got a reduced ticket, which means the fine is 1/2 what it would have been, and I don't lose my license for a week.
But I had an amazing visit with my friend

And I didn't try to sweet talk my way out of the ticket, as it was valid. But he did knock it down from over $450 to $227, and I don't lose my license. Technically, I should have the higher fine and lose my license for a week, as I was going 36 km/hr over the speed limit. But he charged me with doing 1-15 km/hr over. I don't know why, I don't care why. I'm just very thankful that he did!

Thanks, sweetness I always have fun watching them play! Although she has 2 games today, and the forecast is calling for a thunderstorm during the 1st one that's won't be so much fun.
