The Calm Before the Storm

Have had a few feeder bands so far. Currently it is quiet and calm. The house is all preped and we are as ready as possible.

Well we made it thru another one.

Charley missed us by 20 miles to the East of Lakeland and Frances missed us by 20 miles to the the south.

Hope Ivan doesn't have better aim.

Had to warn the SO of the storm surge and rip tide in the pool however. She wanted to sandbag around the pool.

Blondes, gotta love em.

I bought a generator this week, not sure it will be of much use once Ivan blows the house down.

I could use a good blow, but only from someone with a less masculine name than Ivan!
