As usual, this concerns me. When viewpoint discrimination becomes the norm, those in power limit viewpoints to those that conform with the interests of their regime only.

Never in the history of ever has the phrase "quell student protests" indicated a growing societal reverence for democracy and civil rights.

I dislike anti-Semitism. I think it, like anti-whitism, is not a healthy mental state. This is the nature of scapegoats in general: everything gets blamed on the scapegoat, and no one takes responsibility for making better quality decisions.

It seems to me that Israel is right and the solution is removing Hamas, but this does not mean that we can sacrifice speech and protest rights for this goal.

If students aren't safe or don't feel safe on campus, then it needs to be addressed.

Any student organization that obstructs someone's ability to travel in public places freely need to be suspended and any funding suspended and/or disbanded.

Any organization that does not have proper approvals to organize on campus need to be suspended or disbanded and funding suspended.

I actually think that this should be the case no matter the place, but am fine starting with Universities.

They can certainly chant whatever stupid shit they want.

I was outside walking my dog when I replied the first time. People have these things called mobile phones, so you don't need to be at your desk to log into the internet.
