I have been hearing positive reviews for "Evil Dead Burn". I have not seen "Evil Dead Rise" yet. Is it a prerequisite that I see EDR before EDB?

Is Gator Face a remake or play on another movie? After reading the synopsis, the premise seems very familiar.

But I have a memory of a horror franchise with a similar premise. The victims were targeted for some wrongdoing in the past.
