Celestia City

*As the sun started to set Remus woke. He set out his clothes for the evening. He read and reread the note from Jeffery. She was thinking about me. His smile would be contagious to anyone around. As he wondered the empty halls she was in his every thought. He placed the boxes for her on a chair outside the master bath. If he was right she would come over right after work and he wanted everything to be perfect. He set the table with 200 year old china. And had everything going in the kitchen. Hopping she liked pasta. He was preparing Fettucini Alfredo with lemon pepper chicken breast.

He could not resist looking at the dress he ordered for her. He also let his fingers run across the neck less he got for her. The smells from the kitchen rose to fill the house. As he finished up in the kitchen Remus started checking the clock. He chuckled to himself. "It would be helpful if I knew when to expect her." He set the wine out to breath and waited.*

The day seemed to drag on and each time she started to sigh with annoyance she looked to the roses and smiled. He’d been so thoughtful. It wasn’t fancy; he wasn’t given to flowery words. It was just a very simple present to let her know he was back in town. But then the thought came to her. How’d he know where she lived? She’d never told him or anyone else for that matter, at least not anyone that knew him. She gave her shoulders a soft shrug and went back to work.

At the end of the day she couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there. She paused as her feet hit the concrete sidewalk, breathing deep of the spring air. She looked over at the car and again was taken back that he’d let her borrow it again. With lighter steps she made her way to the car, humming. Maybe she should go over right away and thank him. After she got in and drove off, Daliha realized that’s exactly where she was headed. Her eyes darted to her watch for the time and realized he might not be up yet. The sun had just barely set. She swung south and ran the Mustang along the beach front roads before heading over.

As the sun set deeper he finished up dinner. The sound of the mustang pulling into the drive brought a smile back to his face. Before the sound of the engine died, he was at the door. Seeing her figure move around inside he walked over and opened the door for her as she gathered up her things. "Dark eve M'Love how was your day?" he took her hand and helped her from the car. Walking to the house his arm slipped around her waist. "I have a couple of surprises waiting for you love.

As they entered the main hall the aroma crept to her. Remus could not tell if she was pleased or horrified. Leading her to the table he pulled her chair out. He served her and then sat next to her looking into her eyes. "My love after you have eaten There is a gift or two in the master bedroom next to the master bath. If you would like to shower and clean up before getting dressed. Then, we have tickets to see Carmen Burana tonight. And if you don't mind we won't be taking the Mustang tonight."

As she finished up he rose and pulled her chair out once more. Showing her the way to the master bedroom. "The boxes are for you darling. I hope you like them." He watched her head over to the boxes and open them. The look on her face was worth every moment they spent together. "Did you wish for me to leave the room so you may shower? I can take my things and dress in another room."

Daliha’s violet gaze shifted to meet his. There was such warmth with in his emerald orbs she could not help but smile, her hand slipping into his with ease. She rose slowly, her gaze held by his, before she finally found her voice. “My day was pretty good. Thank you for the roses Remus. They are so beautiful I took them to work with me.” Of course she didn’t tell him that every time she looked at them she thought of him. When his arm slipped about her waist she leaned into his side, enjoying the greeting far more than she knew she should, but just once in her life she wanted to feel...special. “Oh Remus...you don’t have to get me anything. I mean you already lend me your car...and then the rose.” Her heart beat faster as she thought of the little things he’d been doing almost since the night they’d met. Was it possible she was falling for him? It was something she’d been wondering all day.

As they entered the house she set her things by the front door, feeling his pull on her. The scent of dinner filled the air and she couldn’t help but breathe it deeper. It smelled so good that her tummy was already roaring with need. “It looks so ... wonderful.” She turned shimmering eyes up to him as they stood before the table. Softly she brushed her lips over his before taking the seat he held out for her. “Thank you, Remus.” Her voice was a velvet purr of pleasure and as he sat she laid her hand over his. “You’ve gone to a lot of trouble...and not that I don’t like it...I’m just not use to being treated this way. So...why Remus? Why me?” Her thumb softly stroked over his wondering what more he could have gotten her, and tickets to Carmen Burana to top the night off.

Daliha ate her meal slowly, savouring every bite and nearly purring with the taste. He was an amazing cook. When their meal was done she rose, following him without a word. When they reached the master bedroom she paused before entering. Her amethyst gaze went straight for the boxes. There were three in total. Carefully she went over and opened them. Her breath caught on a gasp as she pulled the silk gown of midnight blue from the box. It was cut in the style of like the 50’s movies she liked to watch on Sunday mornings. At least she thought it was the 50’s. It was the era of Fred Astaire. When men and women dressed up in formal beauty just to go out to dinner. Carefully she laid the gown over the end of the bed and opened the next box to find a matching wrap and purse. In the last box was a pair of black heels that had at least 4 inch heels on them in leather. She turned her gaze to him, blushing, tears shimmering in her gaze. “Oh...Remus...” She was breathless and couldn’t find the words to thank him. She could only nod in answer to his question. Daliha wasn’t ready just yet to go further than the tender kisses they shared.

When he had gathered everything she watched as he closed the door and hoped he’d not forgotten anything. In truth she should have gone to a guest room to shower and dress for him, but there was something about being in his private space that she found exciting. She went into the bathroom and started the shower before undressing, her eyes taking everything in. He had such wonderful taste that she could picture him living in a castle or mansion. Slowly she slipped out of her cloths, piling them neatly on the edge of the vanity. She glanced at herself in the long mirror, wondering what he saw when he looked at her. Shaking her head she turned and gave the door a slight push, not worrying if it was closed or not.

The heat of the water felt amazing over her tired body, waking her for the night to come. No one would ever believe this, but she didn’t care in the least. She tilted her head back, turning so that the water cascaded over her head and down her body in a shower of droplets. Her hands slowly rose, caressing and massaging her muscles till they loosened. Tonight was magic, perhaps even a dream, but it was a night she would remember always. Carefully she washed her hair, running her slender fingers through the long tresses. She found a bottle of scented body wash that seemed brand new. When she drew in the scent she knew he’d gotten it for her. There was also one of those soft scrunchy things for her to use with it. With the puff lathered really well she slowly began to run it over her body as if it were a lover’s touch. A soft moan slipped from her lips as her hand followed the lathery trail that smelled of night blowing jasmine. For a moment her fingers lingered, teasing her velvet folds as her free hand ran over her breasts. Her mind was on him, wondering for a moment what he looked like under all the fine cloths he wore.

The lathered puff dropped as her fingers softly glided back and forth over her clit, teasing herself until the pleasure was an aching throb. Slowly she leaned back against the shower, moving so that the water fell over the front of her. With her eyes closed she began in earnest, fingers thrusting between her folds as her thumb rubbed over her aching clit. The motion was slow at first and then became faster. Her hips rose and fell as if another stood before her, thrusting deep within her tight walls. Her free hand pinched her hard nipples, drawing delicate moans from her parted lips. If nothing else a woman always knew how to make herself climax quickly, but Daliha let the pleasure hang at the edge of the cliff a moment arching her back as she gasped his name before she climaxed. Her body shook, trembling from the pleasure and aching now for his touch. His image lingered in her mind as she rinsed her body.

Daliha stepped from the shower and nearly jumped at the mew that came from the doorway. Quickly she turned, trying to cover her body and found the only one watching her was a tiny ball of white fur with the bluest of eyes. The kitten looked up at her again and purred so loud that Daliha thought her little chest must be vibrating. “Oh...sweetie are you looking for Remus. I’m sure he’s just down the hall.” Carefully she went to the kitten, wrapping a towel about her body as she did. There was a collar about her neck of amethyst with a gold heart with something engraved on it. When she held the little thing in her arms she picked the tag up and read. “Daliha’s Diamond” She held the kitten up to her face and nuzzled the tiny nose. “I’m thinking somehow you might be mine.” She set the kitten down and wander over to dry up.

When it was all said and done, Daliha stepped from the room with the white fluff ball following her every step. Her raven locks had been brushed until they shimmered and then gathered on top of her head, soft curls were left loose to dangle about her face, framing it softly. The gown was a perfect fight and seemed to wrap her in a silken embrace.

He went down the hall and turned on Mozart. The sounds of piano concerto no.21 filled the house Remus walked towards the room where he was to dress. Passing his room he notices the door slightly ajar. Peeking in to make sure everything is alright he sees her reflection in the mirror. The water cascading over her naked body. The way her hands roam over herself stirs a feeling in him he has not felt in a long time. He silently watches her as she runs her fingers through her long raven mane. When her hands caress her neck she lets out a low moan and she throws her head back. She opens her eye's and reaches for the body wash and puff. Remus longs to be in there with her touching her. Kissing her, loving her. Remus slips silently out and to get ready for the night. While he dresses in a guest room his thoughts were filled with her. Hearing the water run and smelling the moist steam in the air he sat on the edge of the bed. He tried to stop himself, but the images of her body with the hot water steaming down over and around her filled his mind. Almost as if he was standing there still watching her he could see every inch of her beauty. As he pictured her hands roaming over her body. He heard his name softly escape from her lips. His first thought was to run to her. He realized that she was not calling for him or in any peril.

As the water shut off and he heard the soft foot falls across the floor. Smiling as the pure white kitten mewed at her. The smile became a soft laugh as Daliha gasped in surprise. Giving her a few moments to dress Remus exited the guest room and slowly walked towards the master bedroom. When she emerged through the doors he thought again if he had to breathe she would have taken his breath away. She glided down the hall as if a dance. She spun for him as if looking for approval. Stopping only feet away from him she blushed lightly trying to see what his gaze meant. "M'lady you are breathtaking." He slipped his arms around her waist and began to lead her in a slow waltz to Beethoven's Emperor Concerto. Looking deeply into her eyes he knew that he was hers for as long as she wanted. There was also a question in her violet orb's. She would need her answer before the night was over and he was not going to wait.

"Amour you look as beautiful as the evening sky." He reached into his pocket and before she could gasp he placed a necklace of gold and diamonds on her. "When I look at you Daliha I see the moon large and full in all it's nightly splendor. The sight of afresh water stream falling over smooth marble rocks. I don't know how to explain it. Picture the most beautiful image you can. You are more beautiful to me then that. And in the dress you would even make Aphrodite look like a poor maid." His eyes told her he meant every word. He had not lied to her about anything and she knew that. He had not tried like so many other men to just say what she wanted to hear so she would sleep with him. Fact is he had not tried to seduce her at all and his mind wondered if she thought that strange or weird. When he spoke to Lucian and Simera about the way he felt Simera gushed with emotion over the fact he had indeed found love again. And Lucian helped him plan the evening they were about to have. Not what the events just a few odds and ends Remus did not have.

Softly kissing her he told her they must be going if they were going to make it in time. Guiding her to the door Remus pulled a leather dress duster from a closet it was shorter than his, but just right for Daliha. Offering to slip it over her shoulders she took it and folded it over her arm with a smile. He opened the door and the limo was waiting. As they walked to the car he could not help, but notice the sway of her ass as she moved. How smooth and flawless her curves were. How she moved with the grace of a kindred already. Every part of her moved as if a perfect symphony. The fit of the dress was perfect on her body. The open back and the way her hair was up allowed for a glimpse of her ass. The image of her in the shower rushed back into his mind. Quickly he forced it out and opened the door for her. As she slid into the seat the slit of the dress fell open briefly exposing her thighs. Again he had to force the thoughts out of his mind. Closing the door and reappearing next to her they drove off.

Daliha’s violet gaze shimmered softly as it rose to meet his glowing emerald eyes when he spoke. Her breath caught for a moment before it was released upon a tender sigh of happiness and as he wrapped his arms about her waist the hall seemed to dim. For a moment she thought he would kiss her, but instead he began to move. His frame at ease with the gentle waltz he led her in. Her own form seemed to meld against him, flowing into the dance as if they’d done this very thing every night of their lives. She laced her arms about his neck, keeping his gaze locked with her own. It had been years since she’d danced like this, and then it was with her father. With each moment that passed she felt her heart swell and lighten. No man had ever been this tender with her and though she didn’t know what she was going to do she did know that her place was at his side.

Her fingers moved to softly caress his cheek as he began to speak once more. The words were nearly lost as her eyes drank in the beauty of his own. His words slowly began to filter into her thoughts and she found herself nearly blushing once more. How could he manage to do that to her with such ease, she wondered. But she wasn’t given a chance to really think about it as he slipped another gift about her neck. There was a mirror on the wall across from then and she could see the delicate chain draped about her slender neck and the diamond that nestled in the hollow of throat. Her cheeks flushed hot, his words leaving her swooning. Perhaps it was in the way he spoke that caused her to react in such a way. Men just didn’t talk like that anymore.

Daliha raised up on the tips of her toes as his lips pressed against hers in a soft kiss. It was neither demanding nor heated, but tender. She merely nodded and followed him when it was time. But when he offered her the coat Daliha shook her head and took it from him, draping it over her arm. The night was far too beautiful to be covered in such a manner. The limo was a surprise, yet not a surprise. Somehow it suited him perfectly. Again she sighed in complete contentment and she knew without having to think about the cause that it was Remus. She was falling for him and it scared her a bit. She could feel his eyes upon her form and bite her bottom lip as a sensual smile began to curl her lips. Daliha liked having his full attention and couldn’t help the way her stride lengthened causing her hips to sway sensually for him.

Carefully she gathered the gown in her free hand and slipped into her seat, smiling coyly as she watched the slit part and flutter to the sides to reveal her shapely leg. She held the pose for a moment, allowing his gaze to linger over her flesh before she slowly eased her right leg into the limo. Once she was settled into her seat she turned towards the other door. She watched as Remus entered with a style and grace that did nothing to distract from his masculinity, but enhanced it until he was perfection, at least to her he was. Oh yeah, she was falling fast and for a moment she couldn’t breathe. She took one deep breath and then another as he eased his form into his seat. Carefully she curled next to him, pressing her bodice against his bicep, head lying against his shoulder as her arms snaked about his right one. In a rash moment she lifted just enough to kiss the side of his neck. “Thank you...”

The feel of her lips on his neck sent waves of emotion through him. "Thank you for what M'Love?" They drove for a short time and pulled up to a private plane. A grin came upon Remus lips as confusion filled Daliha's face. "M'love the plane is not mine. My dear friend Lucian is lending it to me for the evening." As they boarded Remus kept their destination to himself. Once on board she was served a glass of wine. As the plane sped down the runway he could see the look of amazement and the question on her face. How does he arrange all this while sleeping all day? As he sat there looking into her eyes his hand slowly crept on top of hers locking their fingers together. He slowly leaned into her and kissed her passionately. The kiss seemed like it lasted only a few seconds, but as they broke apart the plane was descending for its landing just outside New York. As they exited the plane there was another car waiting. The drive into the city was brief.

When they arrived at the Broadway theater and entered they found their seats just as the lights began too dim. They watched the play from the presidential box a gift from Simera. Holding her hand Remus thought that they were all right he was falling in love with Daliha. He could feel her head resting on him, but showing no sign of boredom or fatigue. The look in her eyes and smile on her face showed she was indeed enjoying herself, also that she had never been to a play on Broadway before. When the play let out it was well past midnight. Opening the door for her and with a soft hand helping her into the car. As he climbed in her eyes showed how tired she had become. "My dearest it is so late and I know you must be exhausted. Did you want to fly back tonight or Stay in New York and fly back tomorrow evening?" The driver waited patiently for directions as to where he was taking them.

“Thank you for tonight. You’ve made me feel so very special Remus.” She softly pressed her lips to his neck once more before she laid her head back upon his shoulder. Daliha drifted for a bit as they drove along, content to just be next to him. When the limo slowed she sat up and looked out at the where they were. Somehow she thought they were going some place in the city. Carefully she turned, looking up into his eyes. “Remus...where exactly are we going...and do you own a plane?” Her voice was filled with surprise as she turned back to gaze out the window again, detangling herself from his arm. Of course he explained the plane, but didn’t bother with where they were going. Sheesh men, she thought. But it only excited her more that he was keeping the final destination to himself.

When she entered the plane her fingers ran over the back of a chair, nearly purring at the softness of it before she eased her form down into it. It was like sitting on a cloud and if it wasn’t for Remus watching her she would have snuggled back and curled her feet up under her. Instead she slowly crossed her right leg over the left, watching his eyes as she felt the gown part over her flesh and fall to the sides where it pooled. Her right hand softly glided over the exposed flesh a moment before moving to rest on the arm of the chair.

Remus finally took his chair as she took the glass of wine that was offered to her. She could not help the way she was feeling. He’d done so much to make sure her day was nearly perfect, from the roses this morning to very cloths on her back. Her body ached for his touch and though she might not be mentally ready for it Daliha wasn’t about to soften her desire for him. Her fingers laced with his and noticed how perfect they fit together. Slowly her gaze wandered back up to his and found him slowly leaning down to her. Her breath caught at the passion in his emerald orbs. It sent her pulse racing as her lips were captured by his. A soft purring moan vibrated through her throat as she felt the passion in the kiss that had been in his eyes. Her free hand moved to gently caress his cheek as she sank deeper into the kiss, eyes closing. She nearly melted against him.

All to soon the kiss ended and though she thought it had only been a brief kiss when she gazed out the window past him Daliha knew it had been a heck of a lot longer. In fact they were already landing. Something about the skyline seemed familiar, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. Another limo was waiting for them and once more she did the same as she had before, allowing her bare leg to linger outside a moment for his viewing. Once inside she curled into her seat and waited for him, curling about his arm when he finally settled into his seat.

When they pulled up to the theater her mouth dropped open, unable to help herself. “We’re in New York...” It was a breathless whisper that carried all of her awe and excitement. She felt like a child and wanted to jump up and down, but she was able to keep herself in check. It was a shock when he led them to one of the box seats. “Oh...Remus.” She knew that the seats were the very best and reserved for special people. For a second tears glimmered in her eyes, but they didn’t last long as the lights dimmed and the curtain began to rise. Daliha took her seat and nearly purred with pleasure. Some time during the play she moved closer to him, holding his hand, she laid her head back against his shoulder as she watched. It was all so wonderful and for a moment she prayed that if it was a dream that she never wake up.

When the curtain fell and they rose she had to cover a yawn with the back of her hand, but she didn’t say a thing. Instead she slipped from her chair and followed him out, hand in hand. She paused as Remus opened the door for her and she wondered for a second why the driver wasn’t doing it. But another yawn hit her and she realised she didn’t really care. She slipped into the limo this time with no little show for him and when he eased into his own seat she scooted over to lean against his shoulder. If she’d not been so tired she might have climbed into his lap to take a nap. “Remus...you can’t do that. I can nap on the plane. There’s no need to spend extra money just because I’m a little tired.” But already her eyes were betraying her and closing, his scent filling her nose and comforting her into sleep better than a lullaby.

Her eyes fell closed Remus instructed the driver as to where he was taking them. As they arrived at the plane Remus carried Daliha onboard. Sitting with her curled in his lap he closed his eyes and thought. When they arrived back in Celestia City it was past three in the morning. The second driver asked "Are we taking her home?" The answer was in his face. When they reached the house he carried her to bed. Gently he woke her long enough to change into a silk nightgown. Laying her on the bed and kissing her softly he whispered. "I love you Lady Daliha." Her eyes fluttered and she was deeply asleep. Pulling the large down comforter up and around her he quietly exited the room. Down in his study he wrote her a letter.

"My Lady Daliha, I want to express to you that I had a wonderful evening with you. I look forward too many more if you will have them with me. I know that when you wake it will be deep into the day and there will be many hours where you are alone. I leave you free run of my home and also any vehicle you wish to use. As you seem partial to the Mustang I have left the keys with this letter, also there are fresh clothes for you in the closet. If you wish to go shopping or anywhere the Credit Card is at your disposal. Feel free to get whatever you need. I also leave you a Cell Phone for your personal use. I hope you enjoy the day as it is most likely going to be beautiful. But know that its beauty will be pale next to yours. Until our next meeting know I am thinking about you." it was signed Love Remus.

He placed the letter, keys, and a single red rose on the pillow next to her. Closing the door to the room he moved down the hall to a guest room. Once inside he changed quickly and was in bed just as the sun started to rise outside. The dreams he had of her filled his mind as he slept. The image from the shower crept back into his mind as did the rest of the night. It was the most peaceful days sleep he has had in 200 or more years.

Daliha didn’t remember a lot after she curled up into Remus’ lap and fell asleep, but she dreamed of him carrying her often to bed only to leave her there alone. Part way through the night she rolled over and reached for him, dreaming that he lay beside her. Her hand brushed against the single rose and smiled. He wasn’t there, but he made sure she knew he thought of her. With a tender smile curling her lips she drifted back to sleep.

It was nearly 9am when she woke, stretching like a cat fresh from a nap. “Remus...” He name was a purr on her lips as she rolled over, snuggling under his covers. His scent filled her nose and his gift her eyes. For a moment she merely caressed the rose with a slender finger before she picked it up and held it to her nose. Her fingers itched to open the note and when she couldn’t resist any longer she snatched it from the pillow and opened it. His writing was fluid and grace, much like the man himself. Her fingers trailed over the letters as her mind was filled with images of him. It took a moment, but then she focused on the words themselves and felt her heart swell with the love that was already blossoming.

He had cloths for her, told her to go shopping with his credit card, but the only thing she saw was the ending. He loved her. It was something that he’d said more than once before, but she was starting to believe it. Holding the paper to her chest she curled under the covers and drew a deep breath. She closed her eyes and saw him as he was last night. The way he looked at her as she stepped from his room had melted her and caused her heart to race. No man had ever looked at her like that. To him she wasn’t just a piece of meat to toy with or decoration for his arm.

Daliha purred softly as she lay there. When she finally decided to move she noticed the time and cursed. She was already an hour late and had no desire to even go in. She noticed the phone sitting next to the clock and took a deep breath, it had been over a year since she called in sick, but she wanted to be there when Remus woke up. The call was short and to the point. Of course her boss didn’t say anything, but get better soon.

Slowly Daliha slipped from the warm bed, leaving the keys on the pillow, and went to the closet, smiling as a light came on the moment she opened its door. One side of the closet was filled with suites and even a few pairs of jeans. On the other there were dresses, jeans, dress pants and shirts. Anything she could think to be in the mood for he’d stocked for her. As her fingers fluttered over the array of garments she noticed that they were all the perfect size. Remus didn’t miss anything, but as he’d never had her naked she wondered just how he knew her sizes. Her eyes slowly drifted down and she laughed. It was light and filled with amazed joy. He’d bought her shoes of every style and color that was needed to go with the cloths. It was then that she noticed that she was wearing a silk nightgown. Her cheeks blush knowing that he must have dressed her for bed.

She slipped from the closet with a pair of white, thong sandals, faded blue jeans that seemed very old though they were new and a shimmering, white poet shirt. Daliha slipped into the shower and emerged with a warm smile, washed, dried and dressed. Her raven locks were left to dance about her back.

For hours she kept herself busy reading and roaming the house. When the sun started to slowly glide down to kiss upon the horizon Daliha slipped back upstairs and down the hall till she stood before the guest bedroom he slept behind. Once her eyes had adjusted to the dusk within the halls she slowly opened the door and slipped inside. The small glimpse that she’d gotten from the open door was enough for her to find her way to the empty side of his bed. Carefully she crawled on top of it until she could lay down, facing him. Her hand stretched out and softly began to trace his cheek. “Wake Remus...please.”

Remus's eyes snapped open. Not sure what was going on. He laid still until he was sure it was safe or if he needed to fight right away. Feeling the soft touch, and letting the sweet fragrance of Daliha filled his brain and lungs. He smiled knowing she was there in the room with him. Lying in the bed with him. "I thought it was, but a dream." Turning his face to find hers he was lost in the violet orbs that looked over him. "Dark Eve M'Love I trust you slept well, And had a very pleasant day." As Remus slid up in bed and the comforter pooled around his waist revealing his shirtless torso, his muscles rippled showing his almost flawless body. The Deep wide scar running from his right collar across his chest marred the perfection. He paused for a moment turning to Daliha. "M'Lady I am sorry for my appearance. If you will excuse me for a moment I will cover myself." Rising the muscles in his back flexed also reveling a long deep set of scars. Four in total like double twins. He wore a pair of black silk lounge pants that shined in the soft light. His movement across the floor was grace full and with a fluid motion he donned a matching robe.

Flicking on the light he gazed at her lying on the bed. Her hair down, and spread like a curtain over her body. The curve of her body in the jeans and poet shirt were intoxicating. Walking to her he bent down and kissed her softly on the lips. "M'lady I will shower and dress quickly, and then we shall get you something to eat." He sensed she did not wish to be very far away from him."I must go and gather my outfit for the evening. You may wait here if you wish I shall only be a moment." Without another word he was gone and back in meir seconds, but to him it felt like a lifetime. As he walked past Daliha his fingers lightly caressed her check, and glided down around her neck as if they were intiment lovers, then he was gone. Into the bathroom door closed and shower running.

Daliha smiled warmly as he woke and turned to greet her, but it was not the greeting she’d longed for. “I slept very well...and spent the day missing you.” He was so romantic and could steal her breath with a single kiss, but as he sat up in bed she could feel the distance between them as if he were in another country. Her violet orbs wandered his chest, barely able to see in the shadowy room. When he moved she caught the sight of the scar on his chest and longed to ask him about it. With a sigh she lay back, having rose a bit to pause him from leaving and missing her target. Her gaze wandered his back and again found the words on her lips to ask, but she held them back. He didn’t seem to want to be near her. Maybe it was a bad idea to have stuck around.

Yes, this had been one big mistake, coming to him with tenderness he did not won’t or need, she thought as he slipped from the room. He spoke of loving her, held her as if they were lovers. He was always rushing away from her and then when she least expected it he would pull her into his arms. It all confused her to the point of sadness. She watched as he left and then returned with his cloths. Her eyes tracked him, her flesh tingled at his linger touch and yet again he was gone. She was ready to scream and then cry.

Carefully Daliha rose and slipped from the room without a word and ran back to his room. Her mind was spinning and she felt as if she couldn’t breathe, but this time it wasn’t his kiss that had caused it. She took the keys to the car and the single rose, leaving the house at a dead run. She all but tossed her body into the Mustang and quickly brought the beast to life. With one last look at the house she turned the car around and took off. He could come for the car, but she’d not see him again, she vowed. But as she started driving she hadn’t a clue where to go. She didn’t want to go home, he’d go there first. She pointed the car down the coastal highway and drove until she felt her lungs ease enough that she could take a deep breath. The man was making her crazy.

He showered and dressed quickly not wanting to be away from her. Simple jeans and plain white t-shirt with his light brown Dan Post ranchers. When he exited into the bedroom Daliha was gone. The scent of her tears filled the air. Without thinking he set off to find her, but she was nowhere in the house. His own hunger growing more fierce, and he cursed himself for not feeding more. He covered the ground between her house and his on foot faster than any car could. Upon arriving he noticed she had not been there since the previous morning. Unknowing where to looking for her he started to wonder. "What happened?" he asked himself. Pulling out his phone, and trying to call her with no answer. The events of the past hour replayed in his head. Had he scared her when he woke? Was it the scars? Or was it that he loved her? Maybe he was moving to fast, and told her his feelings to soon. Maybe she could not love a monster like him. Whatever it was he felt that she was gone. As the final haze of sunlight fades he starts to head off to the bar where they met. Looking for any friends or trace of Daliha. As he retraces the steps of that first night the past week replays through his mind, again wondering. "What did he do wrong?" Slowly drifting through the night he finale arrives at the beach. Making his way up the highest sand dune he sits, and is lost in thought. It has been almost two hours since she woke him. Now so lost in his own thought he wouldn't have noticed a car as it pulled up. Even if it was the roar of his own Mustang.

Daliha wasn’t sure where she was going or what the hell to do, but she knew that something had to change. Perhaps he was just very old fashion, but somehow she just couldn’t make herself believe that. Before too long she found herself turning the car around and heading back towards Remus’ home. She’d only been gone maybe a couple of hours, but no matter how far she ran her heart longed for what little he was willing to give. “Dumb ass...” she mumbled. With a sign she turned to gaze at the shoreline and found her sight filled with the moon. It was full tonight and golden. Carefully she pulled the Mustang over, watching as the moon crept over the horizon.

With a soft sigh she slipped from the car, stuffing the keys in her pocket, and began to wander down to the beach. Memories started to wash across her mind as she neared the water’s edge. This was the very place that Remus had revealed himself, something she was sure he’d never done before. She paused for a moment, slipping out of her sandals and decided to sit for a while. Her knees were drawn up to her chest, cheek resting against them, as she watched the ocean kiss against the rising moon. No matter how she tried her mind drifted back to Remus, causing tears to shimmer in her eyes, but they never fell.

Not realizing he was no longer alone Remus took out his phone again. After one ring it's answered. "Lucian it's Rem she's gone." "No I didn't kill her." anger slightly crept from his voice at the thought. He started pacing the top of the dune. "It bothers me because I LOVE HER!" Lucian's response had gotten to him. "Because how is she supposes to love a MONSTER like me?" the response was not what Remus wanted to hear, but before he could say anything there was a THWAP over the phone. "Ouch!" Lucian said laughing. The soft muffled sound of Simera chewing him out. "I'm not sure Lu, but if she will tell me what I did maybe." it was silent for a moment. "I will dear friend. Good hunting to you as well." With that the phone went silent and Remus started down the sand dune.

Her eyes closed as she drifted over the nights since she’d meet Remus and for a moment she thought she heard his voice. But as she looked around she found herself alone. In fact it seemed all to familiar, being alone. As she lay her head back upon her knees a light breeze began to stir about her, dancing with the silken tresses of her hair. She couldn’t be bothered to move the strands from her face though. There was so much to think about before she went rushing back to the house. He was most likely pissed at her anyways. She took the car, left the phone and no note. Hell the man had left the damn city and left her more than just a note. It was just too much and somehow in the short time they’d known each other he’d become very important.

His voice caressed her ears and once more she raised her head, swearing that he was behind her. Her mind played over the words, but they’d just not been loud enough for her to make out what they were. Slowly she rose and began to walk along the beach, edging her way to the gentle waves that rolled over the sand. “I’m sorry...” She had no clue what she was sorry for, but her heart ached. Maybe the whispered words would be carried to his ears on the evening breeze.

Hearing her voice he looked around. Seeing her walk along the beach he froze. He did not realize she was there. Looking at her the thought of hunting left his mind. He had to talk to her, but what was she sorry for? In a voice just loud enough for her to her as she walked "Daliha I Love You, and I am the one who is sorry." His eyes followed her every step. Slowly he started to walk again, not sure if he should approach her Remus stopped some thirty feet in front of her and waited.

As she walked along, lost in thoughts she heard his voice and looked up. He stood before her, and she smiled softly. “Remus...are you really here?” She’d been thinking of him so much that she wasn’t what she was seeing. “If so...what are you doing here, and why are you sorry? You’ve nothing to be sorry for.” She stopped in the waves, waiting for him to speak again. When the breeze turned a bit stronger she shuffled her shoes to one hand and pushed at the strands of hair that draped over her eyes, afraid that if she blinked he would be gone.

"I am here Daliha." Slowly he walked towards her his arm stretched out for her. His eyes staring directly into hers. "I was out looking for you and found myself here. I am sorry for hurting you." His eyes glazed a little as he was unsure what to say next, but he continued. "I am sorry for not telling you what a wonderful surprise it was to have you next to me when I woke. For not telling you how much that truly meant to me. I am sorry that I was not properly covered, and you had to see the hoard scars." His voice trembled slightly as if he was about to cry. "I am mostly sorry for not telling you that I..." His words trailed off. He was not sure if he could finish saying he loved her. Would that cause her to run from him again?

He stopped just five feet in front of her his arms still stretched out for her. He wondered if she would or could come to him. Had he hurt her too deeply for forgiveness? The moon shone over his face keeping hers shadowed, and hard to read. His heart should have been still, but it felt as if it was beating hard enough to break out of his chest.

Her smile grew softly as he began to walk towards her. She never took her eyes from his as he closed the distance and as he spoke she could feel her heart breaking. “No darling...don’t ever say that. You have a beautiful chest. The scars are nothing.” When she stopped she went to him, curling into his arms as she slipped her own about his waist. “I’m glad you came for me. I was on my way back to you when I stopped here. I’m sorry I didn’t leave a note, but...Do I not please you? I mean...it seems like you can’t stand to be near me without being fully clothed. It hurts...when you pull away.” Her voice dropped to a whisper, not sure how to say what had been running through her mind. “You...confuse the hell out of me. You were happy that I was next to you when you woke, but the you ran off.”

"You please me very much my love. Its just it is not polite to be uncovered in front of a woman who is not your wife or lover, and I didn't want you to get..." His words trailed off, and he pulled back slightly to look into her eyes. "Wait do you want me to be undressed around you?" He was puzzled. He was in love with her, and wanted to be with her forever. He thought back to her shower how he wanted to be in there with her. Pulling her close to his chest he said. "I will never run off again." His words felt strong this time as he said them. "Daliha I Love You, and will be here for you always."

He had not realized that they had started to dance again, and were out some half mile from the shore. "We should get back home M'Love it will be starting to rain soon, and you have not eaten yet." He slowly started them towards the shore. "I have not made any plans for us tonight I was thinking we could stay in." The reached the shore as the first specks of rain started to fall. It had been three hours since she had fled from the house. Now she was back in his arms, and he did not want to let go. He softly lifted her face to meet his, leaning down he kissed her. Just as his lips met hers a flash of lightning and a roar of thunder clapped around them. The sky opened, and rain poured down. In mere seconds they where soaked through.

Hurrying to the car he reached to open the door for her. He paused turning back to her. His arms slipped around her waist. Looking deep into her eyes "We don't have to go anywhere or do anything. I will be happy as long as you are there to share it with me." His hand brushed her wet wind blown hair back.Softly caressing her cheek he leaned down. His lips met the skin on her neck, and his teeth gently scraped against it. Remus could feel her blood heat and hear her heart beat faster. Without breaking the skin, and without taking any blood his hunger vanished. His want and need to be near her overpowered everything else. Reluctantly he broke away still holding her around the waist. Slowly reaching for the car door he opened it

Daliha tightened her hold about his waist, gazing deeply into his eyes as he leaned back. “Yes...” was the answer she gave and as it finally dawned on him she lay her head against his chest, sighing with happiness. Softly she whispered, “I love you too, Remus.” She was a bit surprised that she’d told him, but it felt right.

When they stopped she tilted her head slightly, shifting her eyes to meet his. “No...but...do you ever eat?” She’d been with him nearly every night and never seen him eat anything. Somehow she didn’t think that it was right. “Don’t you need to feed or something?” She lowered her head back to his chest as she waited for an answer and thought about the whole thing. The first drops began to fall as they stepped upon the shore, but she didn’t care. She was in his arms once more and nothing else mattered. It seemed to her mind that the moment he captured her lips the sky raged, and she jumped at the thunder. But the warmth of his kiss stilled her to the point that she didn’t notice that she was soaked. She was lost in his tenderness and the passion of the storm.

The kiss was broke as he took her hand and raced with her to the car. Standing between Remus and the car, she looked up into his loving eyes and felt herself melt once more. When he leaned in Daliha pressed her frame firmly against his, purring lightly. A shiver ran over her flesh and not from the rain. She’d never felt something so...erotic against her throat as his teeth. It wasn’t even his fangs, but something deep down wanted to feel those rake across her flesh and the bite of them as they pierced her. He moved to open the door and she pulled him against her, leaning back against it. Carefully she drew his head down to her with hands that lightly played along the back of his neck. Desired flickered in her eyes like the flame of a candle in a breeze. Her lips brushed lightly against his once and then again, leaving space between them for a moment. When she could bare it no longer her lips crushed against his in a passionate gift of her love for him.

Her lips crushed against his in a fevered passion. Slowly his lips parted, and his tongue slid into hers. He ran his fingers through her soaking wet hair gently pulling it. His other hand still wrapped around her waist ran down, and cupped her tight ass. He leaned into her more and pinned her against the car. He could feel himself on the edge of losing control, but knew he would not. His hand slid up from her ass finding its way under the edge of her shirt. Feeling her bare skin under his hand he felt shocks of electricity flow through his body. Without thinking he slowly started grinding his body into hers. Another loud thunder clap snapped him back to his senses. This was neither the time nor place for this. As they finally broke apart he felt her tongue softly scrap along his fang. He shivered with want, and moaned in lust.

While Daliha caught her breath he answered her questions. "You are very right I have not fed in three days. My need and want to be near you are far more powerful than my need to feed." He stared deep into her eyes. The rain poured down harder. He could smell the salt mixing in and, knew the storm was getting worse. The waves crashed to the shore with such force sending sea spray 20 feet or more. It would not do to stand there much longer, and he longed to be alone with her. "Maybe we should get home, and dry off love?" Even as he asked he did not let her go.

Daliha felt the car behind her and his warm body pressing against her and for a moment her only thought was of him. She did not feel the rain as it cascaded over there body as if standing beneath a waterfall. The feel of his tongue caressing, tasting of her own drew soft moans of need from deep within her. She had not realised her own desire for the man was before her until this very moment. Her hands slipped from about his neck and moved over his chest, softly roaming the muscles that lay beneath his soaking shirt.

Her body responded to his every move, hips rolling and stroking over his as they began to grind against her. She gasped into the kiss as his free hand grabbed her firm rear, locking her tightly to him. But the storm had other thoughts for them and when the clap of thunder vibrated through her body she jumped a bit. His lips left hers, but she could not resist the urge to run her tongue along his fang. The feel of the sharp point made her shiver. “Maybe we should.” Her smile was sensual and her gaze filled with desire for him. “Perhaps...we could feed each other this night.” She could picture them before a fire, wrapped in each other’s arms as he teased her flesh and whispered tender things to her. But even with such visions she made no move to put space between them.

Had he heard her correctly she wanted him to feed from her. Shaking the thought off reluctantly he started to guide her to the open door. Looking into her eyes as she sat he could hear thous words again. "I love you too, Remus." Closing the door he walked to the diver side slowly. Before opening the door he raised his face into the rain, letting it cascade down around him. Climbing he reached for his keys. Moments later the car roared to life and the tires were screaming as they shot off. They drove south for a short time until arriving back at the house. "Let us get inside, and I'll start a fire before I run your shower."
