Celestia City

"I said M'lady I know you are not her. You changed my mind. I don't know how it happened. *laughs softly* It is as if I have known you before tonight. Like we have met in some distant past. I have searched my memory but. I know we have never met in this lifetime." *He looked deeply into her eye's. He could not stop himself. He leaned in and passionately kissed her deeply and hungrily on the lips. His arms started to wrap around her and pull her close. It was just a kiss nothing more, but the electricity surged through his body.*

*Daliha listened, not saying anything. He had said she wasn’t her, but then why the hell did she feel this connection to him. When his lips capture hers she pushed on his chest, it wasn’t a welcomed advance, but as it swiftly deepened and the electricity seemed to flicker over her lips, Daliha found herself returning it. She sighed into the kiss, letting herself lean against him. The kiss lingered as did she over the taste of his mouth. But all too soon she felt her body begin to ache and that scared her more than he did. She broke the kiss and slipped from his arms. “Please...” It was overwhelming and she needed a moment. “Please...take me home.” She needed time, but she wasn’t sending him away, yet.*

*Slowly he moved to her and picked her up as if she were a feather. He carried her to the car and gently placed her into the passenger seat. He was in the driver seat, and flying down the highway before she could even protest. As they drove west Remus noticed the black sky start to turn violet. "Daliha I will have to take myself home. I have lost track of time and the sun will be up very soon. You are more than welcome to stay in my guest room. Or if you wish you may take my car home." He turned south again not slowing sending the tires screaming once more. As they pulled up to a very nice stone mansion the sky started to change to a shade of soft purple.*

*She let her arm slip about his neck as he picked her up. Daliha even found her head softly laying upon his shoulder. She didn’t understand her reactions to him, but there was something more to the beast that carried her that drew her to him. Her mind ran over all the myths that she’d ever heard about vampires. Of course he could have some kind of mind control over her, but the longer she thought on it the more she realized he’d not done that. A memory from her teen years kept trying to push forth, but there was so much else racing through her that she just could not focus on it.

As he set her down and then slid behind the wheel she found herself leaning against his arm. “If you truly trust me with your car... I will take myself home. I need time to think Remus.” Maybe she would let him come find her, but she doubted that. Her violet gaze moved to watch as the sun began to rise. She had a feeling that at least that part of the fairy tales was true.*

*As he stopped the car and was at her side with the door open before she had time to react. His hand out to help her once more. As he guided her to the driver seat. He slowly raised her hand to his lips and softly kissed it. "Good night mon amour. Thank you for a wonderful eve." He closed the door and watched her drive slowly out of sight. Just as the first light of sun broke through the night sky he closed the door to his place. His mind awash with feelings and memory's. He walked to the den and poured himself a glass of vitae. Sitting down in the blacked out room he took a sip and let his eye's slowly start to drift closed.*

*She couldn’t believe the place in which he lived. It was beautiful and well taken care of. But she wasn’t given time to gaze over it as he was there, opening her door and ushering her to the driver’s side. It amazed her that he trusted her with his car. Daliha knew she’d be damned if she’d ever let a stranger drive her car, especially a car this beautiful. “Sleep well...if you sleep Remus. I will see you later.” She smiled warmly at him as he closed the door. She had a glimpse of him as she drove away. He was standing in his doorway, watching her.

Daliha drove straight home, enjoying the feel of the machine beneath her. She found that she was very tired all of a sudden. Once home she started stripping the moment she hit the door and kept on going until she fell into bed, and nearly instantly to sleep.*

*As the sun made its journy threw the days sky Remus slept or what ever his kind did. Dreams and visions of Daliha danced threw his mind. As the sun slowly started to sink Remus began to stir In his bed. His mind raced once more as he tried to remember moving from his den to the bed room. He moved around the room and dressed for the evening. He picked out some casual clothes. Faded blue jeans, light brown soft leather cowboy boots, light blue button down shirt, and a black soft felt Bailey's cowboy hat. As the sun sunk low into the sky and the violet colors filled the sky. Remus climbed into his Black F-350 and drove into town wondering what tonight would bring.*

*Daliha rose halfway through the day, stretching long and lazy as a cat waking from a sun nap. The dream she’d had still lingered and she wondered if anything could be as weird, yet as very intriguing as dreams were. It was Saturday and thankfully there was no place she had to be. She took a lazy shower and then dressed in her old faded blue jeans and creamy yellow tank top. Opening the windows she paused to breathe deep of the evening air. It smelled so sweet. Maybe she’d go for a walk. She slipped into her black thong sandals and headed out. No sooner had she left the buildings front door then her eyes fell on the purple ’67 Mustang. Daliha almost fell right on her butt and would have it a stranger passing hadn’t bumped her. Slowly she eased over to the car, wondering if it was real.*

*As Remus drove along the river his mind raced. He turned east and followed the highway back to the ocean beach. Parking in the same spot as the night before he left his truck and began walking upon the sand. Turning to climb a sand dune he sat. His mind replayed the previous eve over and over. Had he lost his mind? Letting her go with everything he had told her. As the last rays of sun fire melted into the ocean her sweet scent filled his lungs once more. He knew that what he had done was right. Taking her life was wrong, but what about giving her eternal life. He stared off trying to figure everything out.*

*Daliha went to the car, laying her hands on the hood. “Holy shit...” Slowly she walked around it, and saw that the keys weren’t in the ignition. But then where were they, she wondered. Her eyes lifted to her window and she knew. Quickly she ran back up to her apartment and barged through the front door. It only took her a minute to find the keys. With a smile she ran back down, slamming the door behind her, and back out to the car. She paused at the driver door and took a deep breath. The key turned and she almost giggled. Of course she wasn’t thinking about all that went with the car. With a brilliant smile curling her lips she whispered a thank you and hopped into the car. The windows were rolled down as she started the car. For a moment her heart pounded in her chest and then she shot out into the street like a bullet, laughing.*

*Remus rose still unclear if turning Daliha was the right thing to do. How could he have such feelings after century's of emptiness. He found himself staring at his truck thinking maybe I should just leave for a while. Clear my head and forget about her. Laughing at the thought of a vampire forgetting anything. Speaking softly to himself "If there is a group who forget's things it's the damn Toreador's. They only remember when it's convent for their own gain. And they say us Malkavian's are the crazy ones." He pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. Inhaling deeply for a moment he wished he was human so he could really enjoy this.*

*Daliha drove from one end of the city to the other and then took it for a spin on the highway. It was truly a wonderful car. He’d really took care of it. But she would have to take it back, which she wasn’t looking forward to. Of course if she’d remembered right away she could have just had a cab pick her up after dropping it off at his place, but the sun had set and she was sure he was awake. Slowly she turned the car towards his home. *

*As he climbed back into his truck he knew it was time to get ready for the night. He drove home at normal speeds not in any hurry. As he turned south he was passed by a violet blur. He put the accelerator to the floor knowing he was wasting his time. He was not going to catch up with her all he could hope for was her wait for him to get home.*

*Daliha wasn’t paying attention or she would have noticed the truck that seemed to be following, though losing ground quickly. She didn’t slow until she was a block from his place and then she just let her foot of the gas, watching as the car, going uphill, slowed. She threw the gears into park and just sat there, gazing up at his place.*

*As he slowed to pull into the drive he noticed her sitting in the car. He wondered if she was scared or just not sure what to do. He pulled up and parked behind her. He got out of the truck and walked over opening the driver door of the classic car. "Dark eve M'Lady." He offered her his hand. "Would you like to see the inside as well?"*

*Daliha jumped and nearly cursed as the door opened and he spoke. “Remus...you scared me.” But her hand was slipping into his as if it had always belonged there. Rising her eyes met his and for a moment the world beyond was lost. His soul was old. There was a loneliness that seemed to speak to her own soul. Slowly a warm smile began to tug at her lips. “Yes...yes I’d really like to see the inside of your home.”*

*As he leads her into the house he starts to speak of its history almost like a tour guide. "This place was once a insane asylum. Up until 100 years ago. They did horrid things here. Electro shock, caging, beatings, and any other deprived thing you could do to another human. It was given to me by a dear friend named Lucian Sterling. He and his childe Simera Blackrose found it and thought I would like it. They spent a large amount of time and money to get it ready for me." His words went on as they explored every inch of the house. From the way it looked you would never have guessed what it was in it's former life. When they arrived in the kitchen Remus looked into Daliha's eye's. "Are you hungry mon amour? I keep food on hand for the few servant's I have to operate things during the daytime."

*Daliha was breathless as she entered the house. It was so lavish yet warm and welcoming. The story he painted of its history did not fit with the beauty of it. There was a woman’s touch to the place and she wondered if this Simera was the one that had done this. Her eyes ran over everything, taking it all in. She didn’t know if she would ever have the chance to see the place again. When they made it to the kitchen she was a bit surprised that it was a working kitchen. Maybe it was just for appearances, but then as he spoke she knew better. “Well...I haven’t had dinner just yet. I’d thought to pick something up when I was out walking...but then...she was there and I could let her just sit. I hope you don’t mind I went for a little drive before heading back over here.”*

"Mind I do not mine at all love. I am sure she enjoyed it as much as you did. She does not get out much in the daytime. I must confess to you I did tell you one little lie last night. I did not buy her 6 years ago. She was brand new when I got her." *He placed a medium rare sirloin in front of her, with a glass of 59 Chateau La Mission Haut Brion. "I suspect you have other plans for this eve? Or would you like a tour of the city as you have never seen before?" His eye's looked into her's with complete honesty and caring*

“Brand new....” She knew his age, but still, to buy the car brand new and to have it still looking new. “Wow....” She looked down at the steak and began to eat almost absent minded. Her fingers curled around the glass of wine as she eased her form onto a stool that had been at her hip. With a deep drink she turned, gazing into his eyes. “You know...you make me breathless when you look at me like that Remus.” And she was, breathless. It took her a minute, but she tore her violet orbs from him and looked down at the meal she’d been eating. “This is really good...thank you.” She thought about his invitation to tour the city and couldn’t come up with a single reason to say no. “I’ve got nothing planned...tonight. What do you have in mind?”*

*He looked at her and realized they could have planned to dress like this*"Well love seeing as we are both dressed for riding. I thought you would like to go see the beauty of Celestia on my Harley. Unless you would rather we take my truck and visit some old mud holes?" He could not understand this feeling he had about her the more he looked at her the more it grew inside him. He was not sure what he wanted to do more ride or mudding.*

*“A Harley...you own a bike.” Her smile grew brighter. Maybe she really was just a country girl at heart, though she’d never even been to the country. She looked down though and back up to him. “I don’t think I should be riding in sandals though Remus. Guess...I’ll have to pass.” She really was disappointed at the fact. The truck thing sounded like fun too, but she’d really wanted to go riding. It had been years since she’d done anything that exciting. She’d been so excited that her once bright smile was slowly moving into a pout.*

"I'm sure your boots are still in the car love." *With the blink of an eye he was gone and back with her boots from last night. "I think these will do fine for a ride" He slowly took her right leg in his hand and slipped off the sandal. Sliding the leg up her calf his fingers lightly brushed her flesh sending shock's of electricity threw him. He repeated the scene with her other leg. As he pulled the pant leg over the boot He lost himself once more in her violet eye's. He was sure he was sweating.*

*She raised her eyes to look at him and found nothing but a blur. When she blinked he was there again. “Okay...you’ve got to stop that. My poor brain can’t keep up.” She smiled though as she spoke. For a moment there was silence as he lowered, slipping her sandals off to replace them with her boots. When he was done their eyes locked and for a breathless moment she didn’t move. “Remus...” She wanted him to kiss her. Hell if he didn’t she was just going to kiss him, she vowed. Daliha softly cleared her throat, raising her eyes from him. “Well that makes the decision easy now.” *

*Remus rose slowly sliding his hands up her legs and to her waist. With out a word his mouth was on hers. He kissed her like no one had ever been kissed before. Her mouth softly formed around his and he was breathing her deep inside his lungs. His tongue slowly darted inside her mouth twisting and playing with her's. He could hear her heart start to beat faster and he let a low moan erupt from his throat. He slowly started to pull away.*
