Joseph Ratzinger, aged 85, has just announced his resignation from the Papacy. One commentator speculates that he's resigning to avoid some massive scandal about to break. Another responds: what could possibly be more damaging than the massive child-abuse scandal?
FLASHBACK TO: 20-year-old Joseph Ratzinger, training to be a priest, deeply in love with one of his fellow students. Agonising, forbidden relationship etc etc. Inevitably, they realise they have to stop before one of them is discovered. Closes with:
