Anyone else's newspaper print these with the crossword?
Basically it's a cryptogram created from a quote from a famous person. Each letter stands for another and they always give you a clue.
For instance here is one from today:
Y equals W
"H RWHZF RWO VTPR SZXOIIBROX
RWHZM HZ TWO YTICX HP B MTTX
WTR LBRW. YHRW LSLLCOP."

I think I spent too much time reading about the German Enigma machine and breaking the U-boat codes etc at Blechley Park. I used to do the crossword all the time but haven't done one in months because of this instead. I may post the answer later. If anyone wants to give it a try and wants some pointers PM me, I'll be around for half an hour or so.
