Who's having a snowy christmas? How are you celebrating tonight?

I'm making a ham dinner (with Dijon sauce) for dinner for my family. I'll probably have to take my little brother out shopping later because inevitably, he's forgotten to go shopping (he arrives at 5pm).

The snow is supposed to arrive a little later tonight. We'll probably just sit around the fireplace and talk about the past and the future. We'll probably talk about those family members who have come and gone (great grandparents and beyond) and those who weren't able to join us here.

Merry Christmas LTGR

We have the pot roast slowly cooking in the crock pot, just going to have a few friends over tonight. And yes, it is a white Christmas.

Cheers

Rainy and dreary here, this afternoon.

Tonight is the night my mother has her Christmas feast for the family.

So it's ham and the works.

Have a Merry one. :)

Thanks Gunner, you have a great Christmas too. I'll bet the pot roast is filling the house with warmth and a delicious aroma. Give my best to Angel and the rest of the family.

I'd like to try an Australian christmas sometime, sunny and warm...you can even go to the beach!

Have a great time tonight!..

IM having a Prime Rib..........(Choice Rib) and baked potatos, baked sweet potato, Fresh dinner rolls, corn, and beer.

Its not wite here, first Christmas in years its been green, or should I say brown.

I know that you're a fabulous chef....my mouth is watering reading about your preparations. I sometimes make sweet potatos with bourbon and brown sugar. The bourbon gives it an interesting flavor (most of the alcohol cooks away).

I don't have a large group so it won't be difficult. I should get my Mom to cook, but she's a guest, so I thought I'd give her a break.

Being in Virginia, it's rare for us to have a white Christmas. This should be interesting. Good thing I have 4 wheel drive for taking my brother out shopping.

The New Zealand ones are rather hot also.... :)

Have a great Christmas lovely man...

We have some freezing rain, than sleet, and finally 1-3 inches of snow overnight coming in. So, it'll be white but not annoying. Perfect!

I'm going to give the kitty's the rest of the stocking before I leave. They'll be all alone tonight. Awww. :0)

The little kitties are going to have a party with all the decorations. This is a magical time of year for them, more toys to play with than any other time of year! I'll bet they even get the nutcracker to stand to attention!

Merry Christmas neighbor! Are you enjoying the sight of snowflakes outside? :rose:

Just drops of rain here, darlin.

Snuggling weather.

Have about 6 inches of snow here. Had lunch with my mom and dad today. We were to have a party tomorrow night, but lots of our friends are stuck 90 miles south where they have over a foot of snow. Will have to put the party off 'till this weekend. Makes me kinda sad, but would rather have them safe then try to drive. Merry Christmas all.

I guess I'm getting snow cause I'm a bit further out in the country. It's very pretty, but slippery. Snuggling sounds wonderful. Are you a snuggle bunny?

This explains the remark someone made to me just a bit ago. lol

I'd like to try an Australian Christmas myself, sometime. But I have doubts as to that being an option.

I live not too very far from you actually...

West Virginia ;-)

Surprisingly, it's snowing right now. It never snows on Christmas here (slightly east of D.C.)

It's snowing! We've only had one snowfall this year that melted a couple weeks ago, so this is a big surprise! It's like magic. Nice timing up there :)

It was great timing. We haven't seen a white christmas in 10 years. It's really pretty out there.

I wonder how ol AJ is doing with his snow and whiskey. Is he playing Santa yet for the young one? LOL. Good night SantaAJ. You and your family have a Merry Christmas.

I'll bet Ish isn't having a white christmas though, it doesn't snow much in Florida. I'll bet the best that they can hope for is a little windstorm that whips up some of the white sands.

Gotta love the way Christmas lights look on a palm tree though.
