Okay, there is no music, but I am still celebrating!
Today marks my 300th Submission for Lit.
I know I've mentioned it coming. Call it bragging if you want, or self-promoting. . .but it isn't. I'm just giddy.
I never cared for writing as a student nor did I even go out of my way to write anything outside of homework assignments. In May 2005 I made my first submission here at Lit. and I'm currently rewriting it, because I think I have come a long way both in my writing, but I also believe I've grown as an individual.
My 300th submission (170th Story on Lit) is Slippery Susie. It is a story found in the Loving Wives category. Susie is a happily married woman, who cheats on her husband, while he quietly sits at home imagining her fucking other people. This idea came from a Litster that posted on the Story Idea Forum. So my submission may be breakfast for the trolls who stake out the LW genre, but that is okay. I know the man who requested the fantasy is happy with it. At least that is what his email proclaimed.
Anyway. . .
Celebrate with me if you'd like. Grab a drink, pull up a chair and share with me what writing has done for you. . .
