i'm sure there has already been a thread about this but i'm too impatient to search for it.

i heard a radio commercial that said cbd oil is used for insomnia. any personal experiences? my nephew used it on his excitable dog and said it made the dog sluggish and sleepy all of the time. have any humans on here tried it? what were the effects? did you sleep better?

It was recommended to me for migraines.
It proved to be pretty much useless.
It did not make me drowsy.

I think it's a racket.

that's exactly what i'm afraid of. it sounds (in the commercial) like snake oil.

I don't find CBD doing much for sleep. I use both THC and CBD for pain management ( and getting just stoned too...I'll be honest on that).

I have several types of edible compounds, the ones with straight CBD do little for relaxing me, but the ones that combine CBD and THC actually do make me drowsy, but I chalk that up to the THC component.

Ive been smoking cbd in my vape for a while,it does nothing for helping you sleep and ive found you dont get stoned but it does help me relax which is all i want

Id recommend Chlorpromazine instead of the snake oil CBD. Most stuff thats available in small shops without prescription is no good.

I have a friend who has been prescribed Chlorpromazine for a few years now due to severe hiccups, Hiccups are now a thing of the past and sleep is very restful.

CBD can also cause weight gain.

When it comes to sleep, I find melatonin more effective,
but not as effective as some hard work or a hard workout.

Now pot, real pot, used to put me out. But I don't do that anymore.

yes...

sleep...

yes...

IMHO, CBD oil is today's snake oil. Not FDA tested. Not manufactured in sterile environments. If it makes you feel better, then it's probably contaminated with THC.

I tried CBD, but in my case, it did not have the best effects. Yes, you sleep much better, but the sleep is much longer, and it isn't easy to wake up in the morning. But I have a morning job, and respectively this state of drowsiness was not right for me. But I also had big sleep problems, and it took me a long time to find the solution. In the end, the solution, in my case, was weed butter. It has relaxing effects, which helps me get 8 hours of good sleep. I make weed butter at home because I ordered a weed butter maker from topgrows.com. I recommend you try it too.

I don’t know if the CBD will help with sleep.

Melatonin will help. THC will help. Any over the counter PM type pain reliever will help.

You probably need to talk to your Doctor..

I tried CBD (only) drops and I felt no effects.

If you suffer from insomnia or wake up in the middle of the night and can't find your way back to dreamland, taking CBD for sleep may be the solution you've been looking for. Check out try the cbd brand because scientific and medical studies have shown that CBD can do many very useful things, including help with insomnia. Because when you flood your system with cannabidiol, CBD molecules dock with CB1 and CB2 receptors, it calms you down, helps you stop thinking and allows you to fall asleep faster and sleep through the night.

CBD oil is a scam, pure and simple.

At best, it has a placebo effect. It was recommended to me for pain and
it turns out, its 18th Century snake oil brought up to modern-day standards.

This isn't the only thread spamming this board this morning in favor of CBD,
It's nothing more than a marketing blitz because they feel there are gullible here...

CBD helps to calm my nerves when I get worked up about something. You can smoke the flower or use the oil. There’s also gummies as well as capsules. It’s good for people who are anxiety suffers or just deal with day to day life’s stresses. I wouldn’t say it cures insomnia however it can promote better sleep.

Overall all I find THC is much more effective with pretty much everything. If you’re someone that doesn’t like that high feeling of smoking Marijuana, you can use CBD.

Hello there! I noticed that this is an older forum post, but I wanted to chime in and offer my help. I've heard from friends that it can be helpful for insomnia. However, it's important to keep in mind that CBD affects everyone differently, so what works for one person may not work for another. Btw, I've personally used it for pain relief and have found it to be very effective. If you do decide to try CBD for yourself or your pet, be sure to start with a low dosage and monitor any effects closely. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
