I'm watching this show that's SUPPOSED to be about Billion dollar experimental Aircraft and such, but it's degenerated into a UFO commentary, and now they are talking about black Helicopters that leave behind mutilated cattle...

This is nothing new... Hich farmers and such have forever been big believers of Conspiracy theories and such... but does anyone else find it absolutely crazy that they try to come off as big medical experts?

"There was an incision under the jawline that ran all the way doen the belly, all the meat was removed from the bones, and the sex organs were removed with special care. I am convinced that these incisions could not have been accomplished with anything other than a surgeons scalpel"

Like the guy is a forensic investigator or something...

just an annoyance. Feel free to ignore me

Which channel? which series?

I'm pretty sure that even a trained forensic investigator would have trouble telling the difference between an incision made by a scalpel, a razor blade, and an Xacto (hobby) knife.

Just a thought....
If it were not for that "hicK" farmer you are talking about, where would you get your meat, grains, vegetables, and milk from? Those things do not just appear at the local SafeWay.
And...
A lot of "hicK" farmers I know have a BS in animal science. They may not be "medical experts", but I would bet the house they know everything there is to know about the animals they raise. That is what puts the roof over their heads, and the clothes on their familys backs. (I understand they can not know what kind of instrument was used, but I just wanted you to know that "hicK" farmers do have educations...most of the farmers under 50 have college degrees.)
Just an annoyance. Feel free to ignore me.

Just another thought to add here...although I don't believe in UFO's, I do believe those farmers, hick or otherwise, have seen every type of injury to their stock you can possibly imagine. Natural predators rarely butcher in the field, and rustlers are "funny" about moving rustled livestock to other areas before butchering them. So a farmer calling attention to an odd injury resulting in death of some of their stock doesn't seem odd to me.
and now you can feel free to ignore me too :)

(no I'm not a farmer...just a country girl)

Good for you! I agree with your comments about farmers. Lots of education and hard work.

Not to be a conspiracist or anything, but...

These procedures are rumored to be tests of US Government surgical equipment that is mobile and capable of very precise surgery. Why they'd test it this way is beyond me though, but it bodes well for future wounded, if it's true.

Thanks Gil... I just hate to see a farmer called a hick. Gets my panties in a bind. :)

Again, I agree storm. Something has been happening to the cattle. There was a movie out about 15 years ago (maybe more,I am getting toooooo old) about "black helicopters" doing this kind of thing. I don't remember the name of it..or even who was in it. I do remember it gave me the creeps.

I remember. I think currently the helicopters have a certain aspect of stealth as well - silent running, if I recall. Or relatively silent.

Yes.. thats it. I can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

It was on Discovery: Civilizations and the program was called "Billion Dollar Secrets Part 1" according to my on screen TV guide thingie... but it's not always completely accurate...

I'm sorry, but every one of these farmers, ranchers, whatever, that go on TV and make these wild claims of UFO's, Black Helicopters, Crop Circles.. whatever. they're all hicks

I'm not saying that the animals are killed by natural predetors, but those farmers act like they know the difference between an xacto knife, surgical scalpel, kitchen knife.

I don't think that's the case. it just makes no sense. Why prpetuate the myth of such government conspiracies and UFO's and public fear, when it would be MUCH easier to simply BUY a cow and take it to a testing facility

I'm not calling ALL farmers hick, lord knows I love my food, but you have to admit, the ones that go on tv and tout the conpiracy theories are a bit kooky

That's what I thought, too. Unless they just want to see if they could pull it off, but still... odd.

All this is all well and good, but you have to ask WHY the government would do these things. It vastly increases the chance for discovery of so called "secret Technologies." It doesn't make logical sense that they would do it in such a way

as a fan of all real life forensic investigation shows I have seen many times where they could tell that one cut was a razor or xacto. So it can be done. Now if the farmer could tell? who knows maybe. Or maybe he is just telling what he was told by a forensic investigator. :)

And you are an expert on this because...? There are several things that can not be explained in this world. Just because someone believes in something different then you, it does not make them a hick. I myself have never seen a UFO, black helicopter or crop circle.. but that does not mean I am not open to the fact that they all could occure. If that makes me a hick..then so be it. I would guess that there are several people on this board that could be called "hick".

So, everything the Government does has to make sense? This would be minor for them.
