The people who take the time to read this series have nothing but positive comments, but few seem to find their way here. I'd like to expose it to more in hopes of generating interest. I will provide a link to the latest, dip your sword into the mix, and hopefully develop an interest in the other chapters.

Fully appreciate your time and effort!

It's not the kind of fantasy I generally read, but the plot, characters and writing a first rate. Why you aren't getting more reads is a bit of a mystery.

My own humble, and admittedly inexperienced opinion...

Literotica is becoming huge, with so many story posts each day, and so much noise, that getting anything noticed is a lot like marketing. You almost need commercials, like the soft drink companies, not to sell it, but just to keep in people's faces, to keep them thinking about it. You need a great title, and a great tag line. You have to grab the reader in the first two paragraphs.

Then, too, I think there are all sorts of subtle dynamics. For instance a long (many chapter) story seems to build a loyal following, guaranteeing a minimum readership with each subsequent chapter, but after a while it's less likely to draw new readers ("Chapter 10? I don't want to start from 1") unless the opening paragraphs really grab the reader and make him/her want to go back to the start.

Then, too, there are different types of readers. I suspect a lot are just looking for the smut, and there are a lot of different definitions for "good smut" for all of the different readers. If it's not obvious how good that aspect will be, or it takes too long to reach, they get frustrated and abandon a very good story. The quality of the writing, or the story, doesn't matter so much for them, if it doesn't meet their immediate needs.

More discerning readers are harder to find, or rather, it's hard to get that type of reader to notice a good story amidst all the noise.

I have a number of ideas on this... but I'll stop here before I just ramble on with all of them.

It's not my cat, either, although I agree with Jenny that it's a well done story. As far as why you're not getting people to read it, I think it's because it's a multi-chapter story, and if you don't bring the readers with you from one chapter to the next, you don't get any new ones. One of the things that struck me when I clicked onto your main story page is that the first five chapters of this story have nice fat H's, and the rest don't. The other thing that struck was that you waited a year to post chapter 6, and another 8 months to post chapter 7. I know that sometimes the muse just departs, but I expect that by the time you posted chapter 6, a lot of readers probably forgot that they'd read chapter 5.

I have no idea how to get those readers back, other than to suggest that you repost the whole thing under a new title and rely on your fanbase (you must have one with as many stories as you have!) to re-generate interest in the story.

I usually try not to post on other peoples threads but I'm feeling so chipper after my ten days cruising around the Caribbean that I just couldn't help myself.

Finally a chance to use this classic line:

“Sorry, not believing it. Another example of a wannabe that is left lacking. Put a hint of your "riches" in my pocket and I’'d be more accepting.”

You're da man  AS, you're da man...
