I've posted the thread, but characters are still needed, obviously...
Anyone interested?
We'll need more bad guys that just the one, and I'm not exactly averse to the idea that there be another returner, though we'd have to stop at two, or three. SOmeone could also play the "good human" type characters. And the Crow itself if anyone is interested in being the spiritual animal character.

I don't know anything about the Crow. I'd love to participate, but I wouldn't feel comfortable putting a character in there. Might step on someone's toes or something. Is there a character that a lamens person can do?

You don't know anything about The Crow?!!!!
Wait a minute? Was that a joke? Were you serious?
If you're not kidding (...nothing about The Crow...?) then whether you intend to join or not, go see the movie, poohlive. You won't believe it. I'd lend you my copy, but it's not like I can E-mail a DVD...
The basic concept is that a man is wrongly killed, and wronged in other ways generally (in the 1st on, the GOOD one, his fiancee was killed as well), and is given the chance to return and put right the wrongs, or basically, take vengeance on those who wronged him. The Crow is the mythic creature that brings him back, and guides him in his quest. He cannot die, or even be injured, as his vitality lies within the crow (however, the crow itself is vulnerable, and when its injured or killed, he then can be).
It's pure Goth and incredibly imaginative. Just don't watch any of the sequels, time is too valuable to waste on wsomething like that, especially when you could be wasting it here instead...lol

Yeah both sequels well........sucked. Good soundtracks though. The one they're filming right now sounds sucky too....stars DmX and Eminem. Shame they ditched Rob Zombie's script. Do one better than renting the first movie, go get the graphic novel by Jame's Obar. I don't know if this will work as a thread though.

Yeah, probably not, but I figured, if it doesn't work...it just doesn't work...why not try it, give some players a few options.
And the graphic novel, though I haven't gotten a copy yet, is totally different than the movie from what I've heard. Good, but different. THe movie should be given its own judgement in my opinion.

Touche' have you seen Salvation? I thought it might have been good if it didn't look like some made for TV movie. Did you hear about Zombie's script?

Nope...is it available online? I heard that the new one sounds like it'll be the worst yet, though...

Skank? Nah, hadn't noticed...lol

But you forgot: This ghost gonna kill my ass next!

And:

Top Dollar: Maybe we should video tape it and play it back in slow motion...

Here's the thread, but it hasn't caught on at all. Just three posts, and two of them are me. I don't know if the other guy is still interested any more or not.

Hi guys, I'm just letting people, in threads with Ravenloft, know that he's lost his ISP (He doesn't know for how long). :(

Quick impression for ya. Caw! caw! BANG! Fuck! I'm dead.

*wink* I love The Crow. Any chance I can play a female one?

We could always use more players, but I'm not sure if we can fit another "returner" in without more RPers...

No problem. I think I can play a villian for now. Get her eventually killed off or something like that. Maybe an innocent civilian who gets killed and comes back eventually. *shrug* What do you think?

It'll depend on how much it picks up...for two returners, we'd need a large number of bad guys...If the story wasn't already growing around Jared, I'd step back. But think about it, a way to blend her in. Ravenloft may not be back for a while...we have time to think for now.

Sounds fine to me. I think I'll play a random person for now. Perhaps, someone who befriends Jared and doesn't think of his as a freak. Kinda like Sarah....

I'll join. I'd like to be a returner, but for now I'll be the good cop in a corrupt unit.
