Hello All,
starting a new thread for people who love fantasy like i do. there are a few rules that i dont think will be hard to bear

Only Certain races are in frosthold, you can use any character you like if they fit with the races in this world

races

Riada-a race of superhumans, famed for battleskill and magical power, very Celtic type of people, master race of frosthold

Humans-your basic humans, versatile able to do anything really

Orcs-your basic orcs, though not evil they are warlike and barbaric, Think Warcraft 3 not LotR

Dragon Elves- Winged Elves, quite hardy as elves typically go, very mysterious and Magical, defintely more mage then warrior, but have been known to produce quite mighty fighters

Beast Folk-A diverse race of feline and canine humanoids, unable to use arcanum, but they are quite proficient in druidism and shamanism, also excellent fighters

frosthold is a harsh rocky cold incredibly vast island, think of a mix of scandinavia and ireland/scotland

your basic fantasy creatures, but try to lean toward a theme of snow and ice

I'm new

hi I'm new to this literotica thing, but would like to try for the Dalion Tah'ladrias. Can you teach me how? :)

darra sounds good to me although im curius as to what exactly a beast man is. Im up for taking that role just send me a pm or something.

Did anyone say video games?

I've played some RPG, but I like my first person shooter style. :)

Romance V,VI, IX; Final Fantasy Tactics; Baulders Gate; Final Fantasy 11, X; would you consider any of the Sims RPG?

Have you read through the thread yet? You can choose the characters given here or you can try creating your own. If you create your own then you have to find a way to write them into the story. It's good to check out the Guide to online role playing because it gives tips on writing. Example, adding more details to keep your posts interesting.

Quax, I'm a little worried. Edit your posts and you should be fine . I know that it's kind of bitchy to nit pick, but all we have is writing here and you will be understood better if you edit a little.

Wow, never mind Quax, I checked out your other posts and I take it back.

Im detailed when need be but theres no need to be creative when your saying ill take that one. :)

this was the description i started it with

my characters

Name:prince Cahir MacCernach
race: riada
height: 6'4" (riada tend to be tall)
weight:190
Age:19
occupation: Battlemage
weapons:runeblade (a magical energy blade of great eldritch power, produced by him) Bladestaff ( a wizards staff with axe blades and a sword blade at the top)

Youngest Son of Cernach, Ard Righ (high king) of frosthold, already a formidable battlemage. Rebellious, he left the court of his father to seek adventure with only his sworn blade Forgall as a Companion.

Name: Forgall MacFionn
race: riada
height: 7'
weight: 275
age: 49
occupation: Warrior, sworn blade of Cahir
weapons: Battle Axe, Halberd, Longsword, various knives, Longbow

Forgall is a veteran of royal service, one of the warchiefs of King Cernach's fianna, and numbered among the kings Six Dragons, he became Cahir's sworn blade at the prince's birth. Considered by many to be one of the Most powerful warriors of all the riada, second only to King Cernach and Crown Prince Padraig.

id appreciate it if people did their character intros like that, cause it makes things easy for me. thanx and hope you have fun

Read Frosthold

I have read the thread, and looks like everyone is in camp and some in training still, but I would like if you wouldn't mind to create a new character.

Name: Haldir
Race: Elf
Height: 6'4
Weight: 170
Age: 134
Occupation: Warrior, Ranger
Weapons: Long Bow, Sword, Arrows

He was an Elf of Lothlórien, probably a Silvan Elf: a marchwarden who guarded the forest's northern borders. He and his companions are described as wearing grey hooded cloaks and live on platforms in the trees.

Quax, honey, I was bitching about your spelling and use of punctuation. It's a little hard to read. But I read your other posts which are surprisingly ledgable. Hence the nevermind.

Zander if you need help in, my warriors are friendly to elves so you can stroll right into the village if you want. It's an easy entrance but it is still just an option. Find one that will work for your character.

Cahirs quest is to gather an army, so yeah we're picking up where we left off. But all you have to do is show up some where, say Danu told you to join the army and enlist, and youll be in.

Why don't we, in a way, restart this thread. We'll restart it from where we are, but we'll wipe out the characters that are in right now, so if you want your old character still in, just put down their stats again, or if you're just starting this can be a way to get a character in. So the other characters like Deevo's and Furion9 will be gone.

Don't worry about Ithica, she's the grammernazi.

good idea ankara, my characters have to stay in, cause cahir is gathering the army and forgall is his bodyguard. but that sounds good to me

Im in, but Im too exhausted from the 36 hours of work in the last two days to post my character up. Can someone post the link to the original thread so I can read it as well?

Well I know I said I would take over Darra, but after reading through what you guys have done so far (yes all 4 pages) I think it would be more fun if more people were on the evil side. So far all you have is Alvina the dark sorceress so my character would be as follows:

Name: Ertuu Balforam
Race: Human (Closer to undead through years of use of the dark arts)
Height: 6’ 1”
Weight 165 lbs
Age: unknown
Occupation: Necromancer
Weapon: Talrasha (A sentient, as in it has a mind of it's own, and enchanted mace made of the remains of one of the great necromancers.)

Ertuu, then known as Rylai Shendelzare, was originally a normal human boy who lived in the city of Galzeras. At the age of 19 he was sentenced to death for acts of heresy by the city's paladins who deemed themselves holy and acting in the name of their God. On the execution platform Rylai, filled with rage at the paladins and a feeling that a great force was behind him, broke free of the guard who was holding him down and grabbed the face of the paladin who was to execute him. Suprisingly, the very life of the paladin began to flow from his body in to Rylai's and in a matter of seconds he was dead, turned into a withered corpse. Rylai, though confused as to what had happened, lept from the stage and escaped while the crowd attending his execution watched in horror. After this Rylai felt the presence of the Death god with him and took the new, more demonic name, Ertuu.

Now Ertuu has transformed from a young boy into a powerful necromancer. His only goal being to search Frosthold for more power. With every death that he brings he retains some of the life essence of the creature and becomes more and more powerful.

Recently however the Death God has come across important information. The God has discovered that an elf is attempting to raise an army to stop a sorceress named Alvina from spreading a plague. Ertuu has been commanded to warn the sorceress and to help raise an army of the undead to prevent any intervention from outside forces.

OCC 2 ithica i be hopeing dat dis grammar b goood enuf nd thet u no cwitiesize me riting :D

Quax, smartass. im sur ull rite fine. Welcome aboard.

Are we going to let the original thread die off and start all new?

Well depends on if we are going to take my suggestion and just start it at the village, or just let Frosthold die and start a new thread.
