Brit...honestly so would I...and I'd assume most of the others would as well...but we're suffering from a lack of momentum????
I've hinted at a late dinner...a get together party, so to speak...for everyone...perhaps we work towards that...to go from there?

Then dinner would be the next opportunity for you, perhaps....and the first for all of us to meet before the "film" can officially begin...?
Still the question remains how much of the cast is about, after holidays and the flu has taken it's toll...

And I don't think SweetP or I can be at that dinner. Not if "Angel" is going to be there. I thought we discussed they had to be kept apart, otherwise this will turn from a mystery about finding a missing girl to an action adventure on how to kidnap the girl and take her back to Daddy.

Couple of questions...
Is "Angel's" appearance exactly as it was when the two detectives were put on the case...so she'd be recognized right off the get go?
Or is it reasonable to assume it might be different enough that the two "dick's" would have to ask a few questions ir order to find out?
They must have an inkling that she's about...or why move out to the ranch in the first place, correct?
Perhaps with the addition of a few NPC's...(since we've lost some writers anyways) we could add to that confusion?
Or do we just dance around each other?
At some point one or the other would have to run into her, not?
Agreed...I don't want it to turn into a "runaway action plot" where Angel (landi) is discovered and dragged away....that's why I hinted at the "film" being about the private lives of porn stars and each room being it's own set...
Also why I hinted at the limo's leaving and the cast being left alone, so it wouldn't be easy for anyone to drag her away....
Granted I can take caela downstairs and spend endless (And quite delightful) posts with her and I....
But at what point do we all move forward?

Well, like I said several times before, the original concept was that we saw her in a porn in Vegas, and assumed she was part of the porn world. So, yes it is reasonable if she appears on set. Us going undercover was to ask questions and find out information about Angel, the only way into the porn world. I suppose it can turn into us going undercover for one day and then finding our girl. The only problem is, then there's no real police wok or detective work or asking questions or breaking thumbs in order to get to the truth.
That is what I wanted this story to be about. Since that time its moved onto this. So, I don't know. Up to everyone else I guess. In truth, we can toss the whole detective plot out the window, I suppose, and just have some crazy porn fuck fest at the ranch over the weekend. It doesn't matter to me, whatever everyone else feels comfortable doing.

A. Informing her Father that she is where she is
B. Make a form of blackmail since you are stuck at the ranch.
C. Cut a deal with Simon.. say that you "heard" that she is rich and there is a reward on her whereabouts.
well there is four.. you could talk to her.. that is if she doesn't mistake you for Grant's replacement

The only problem is, besides blackmail those are all pretty anti climactic. I would hate to set up a thread with a decent plot about kidnapping and a horrible ugly industry of manipulation and sex, murder and intrigue only to say that we solved all of the problems by just talking them out.
Blackmail is interesting, but I don't have anything to blackmail with. Robert has no information. Once he finds Angel, he can blackmail her, but into what? The only thing he needs from her is to leave the ranch with him. He could blackmail Tabasco's character, but again... no point, no purpose.
I'm honestly not trying to be a stick in the mud with all of this. I just would hate to see all the work put into it just left on the floor.
