Gotcha.

Sorry, SnP. I couldn't resist.

(Trust me, a year from now you won't care. I mourned the loss of M.A.S.H., Cheers and Seinfeld, but only until the cable stations ran the reruns so often that I got sick of them...Well, not of Seinfeld, because I still haven't seen every episode.)

I'm fed up with "Friends". They have done all the jokes three times over, and now there grasping for straws.

Can you imagine 40 years from now, when we sit and watch "Friends", and Monica yell at her grandchildren for walking in with dirty shoes, Joey sits in a wheelchair in the retirement home and pinch the nurses' butts, Phoebe's a baglady, and Rachel is marrying the loser Ross for the 24th time..?

I hate it when sitcom characters fall in love with each other and the producers start promoting the romance instead of the comedy. Romance destroyed Frasier.
Love hurts.

And its not funny. Its serious as hell. So when you laugh about romance its usually to disguise something dreadfully painful going horribly wrong...

I am sick of it too, they just run it way to long! They do that to a lot of shows and totally drown them in romance and try to be funny on top of it.

That's about the size of it! Well said, Summer! :D

If anybody is interested, in a couple of weeks, I will be posting a new episode of "Friends".:p

Oh, good, it's a joke. I can forego shrieking.

Shrieking gets a bad rap these days, imo. I love a good shriek every now and again.

:D

~lucky

How about a squeal of delight?:D

The problem with Friends isn't the romance, it's the friendships they claim to have with each other. As the saying goes, with friends like that who needs enemies?

Mack, re. your AV (big yellow square), are you in nirvana? Bring back your eyes and hair.

LOL

Here I was about to threadjack to say I like McK's new AV. :D

Not that I don't love the pics, McK. The big yellow square just made me crack a big grin for some reason, though.

Friends will return for one more original episode and I wrote the script. The plot and some of the dialogue is included among my stories.
