Carry On.

A quick glance at the mainstream media tells me they aren’t doing a good job of letting you know the precarious nature of your position.

I say, “your” if you are American, Canadian, or Western European. If not, I don’t have any knowledge or opinion.

At any rate, I’m not going to list the reasons I think we are at risk. You can take some time to figure that out on your own - or not.

While I have never believed in centering one’s life around preparing for disaster, I do think some kind of thought and preparation is wise.

You will never regret being able to take care of what you value most, even if you never have to.

Good luck!
Are you getting ready to leave? Make sure you pack the things you value most. Most of the risks are centered on folks who can be lied to by people they trust and they don’t flinch at all. Even when their “sources” have to go to court and reach a settlement because of their lies…

But yeah, you want the media to go all doomsday- bowing to the bully tactics of those like Sen. Mullin.

He just has a little man complex. (What they told you it wouldn’t show in the shot….)

I live in Los Angeles. I already have supplies in case of a natural disaster.

Hmmm I wonder what America, Canada, and Western Europe have in common.
Kick-ass snacks.

I don’t have any idea who Sen. Mullin is… and there is a difference between “doom and gloom” and putting away some food and supplies to hold you over if the trucks stop rolling or the lights go out.

As for leaving? Pfft. I’m in the best place to be. No reason to go anywhere.
Take 15 seconds and search. You claim to know what is happening…to not know the tough guy Mullin…

Alex Jones and his ilk tell everyone about twice a day that the trucks will stop working, that we'll have food shortages, that we'll have a nationwide blackout for days. I don't know why anyone would continue to believe any person or group with a track record like that. It's just to keep you tuned in, to keep you listening, to keep emotions high. It's a mind trick.

Why is this time different than the 10000 times before this time?

When was the last time you dumped and reloaded? I know I need to do that soon. Why is it us with earthquakes every few decades are prepped and the South East who get hit at least once a year by something bad and every five years they are 100% guaranteed to need FEMA aren't preped. I Would have a boat on my roof if I lived in Miami.

The inability to respond to what is actually said, and to do so, without attaching it to a strawman you feel you can defeat is a mark of sloppy, thinking, and a weak mind.

If you decide not to put away a little food, it doesn’t harm me. If you decide to become a full-blown prepper, it does not benefit me.

And the point is not how many times predictions have been wrong, but what happens if it is right.

Do as you please.
We can’t give a more detailed response unless you tell us what you’re afraid of. Climate change? The Jews? The Muslims? The Chinese? The blacks?

No, its a matter of how many times he's wrong. They are making money off this grift. Eventually you have to ignore things.

There are three basic ways to prep:
1. Buy some extra supplies.
2. Steal from lazy preppers who just shop and call it a day.
3. Learn and practice useful skills: grow food, grow medicinal herbs, brew beer, take a first aid class, make or repair useful items, etc.

Most useful skills take years to learn. Now may be too late to start most of those, but there is still the choice of doing something or doing nothing.

okay. I gotta go look for those.

I've been rocking with Zapp's for a while now. Basically anytime I see a 2-for-1 deal on anything kettle at the stores, I try 'em out.
Probably have to import them from Iowa or Amazon.

They taste as if the OG Lays in the yellow packaging were made honestly and with better ingredients.

I'll answer for him.
Climate change? No. He pretends it doesn't exist.

The other four things on the list- yes for sure; and you can add the GLBT community to the list too. And if you read the putrid content of his posts you know exactly what he's getting at.

The calamity we definitely will have eventually, maybe next year, is greatly reduced access and much higher prices of fossil fuels. That will be much worse than the 70s oil embargo with the extra decades of suburban sprawl, greater dependence on global trade, everything connected to the internet, and general loss of local low-energy coping skills.

One example of breaking supply chains having unpleasant effects is people can't heat their homes because they can't buy disposable batteries to put in their digital thermostats.
