Carolina Going For The Cup

Is anyone else out there as shocked as I am? I am sure the Canadians are loving the fact. Hopefully they are the only "Hurricanes" I watch this year.

I think it's lovely that the Carolina fans are dreaming of winning their first cup. In fact, I think it's so nice that I hope they get to enjoy that particular dream for years to come.

I want Detroit to win because Duschene and Robitaille have never won cups and they deserve it.

I want Carolina to win the cup because they knocked out my Habs(not that we weren't completely out of gas anyway) and I always go for the team that beat us to take it all. We can't be that bad if we were beat by the champions.

Disturbing, surreal. But that's progress, everyone in the hunt has a chance.

Odd stat. Since the league expansion in 67 no team that has knocked out the Habs has ever gone on to win the cup. From what I read this covers a full 18 encounters.
