Alexis rested against the door, breathing heavily, sweating a little. She gave a happy smile.v

Nikolai sat down on the floor and laid back onto the plush carpet. "Think they miss us yet?"

"I'm not sure," she said, laying down next to him. "You were pent up," she added, kissing his cheek.

"Well it had been a week," he said. "We're usually more regular than that."

"Glad I asked?" She teased, rubbing his shoulders while he rested.

"Definitely," he said. "I can't wait for next time when we're not in an active combat zone."

"Yeah?" She asked, smiling broadly.

"Indeed," he said. "Then I can try some of those new techniques at my leisure."

Alexis smiled. "I can't wait," she said honestly, laying her head down on his chest.

Mikheal knocked at the door a short time later. "I think we may need you up here to discuss terms," he said.

Alexis sighed and dressed. "What happened?" She asked.

"I'm not sure, but they're both being very quiet," he said. "She got on a roll for about twenty minutes and then stopped."

Alexis raised an eyebrow. "Are they still in the kitchen?" She asked.

"Still in the kitchen," he said. "You two take your time, but I'd get up here soon. she found out one of her men snuck in a weapon."

Alexis snickered and made her way to the kitchen. She knocked on the door. "Georgia? Sergei?" She asked softly.

Sergei answered the door with a "come help me," look on his face. "Please, come in," he said as calmly as he could.

Alexis came in, her eyebrow raised. "Something wrong?" She asked.

Georgia stormed over, "I'll tell you what's wrong, it's his fault she won't answer his call."

Alexis groaned. "I said I would call," she hissed. "Its 2 A.M. in America, of course she's not going to answer!" She crossed her arms and glared at the two older Russians.

"fine. we'll let you handle it after dinner, I have enough to deal with with insubordinate agents," she said.

Alexis shook her head. "Now play nice, you two," she said. "I will hurt both of you, damage to me is irrelevant." She walked out and wrapped her arms around Nikolai and kissed him.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" he said, barely veiling his sarcasm.

"Behave," she gently admonished him, but she agreed. "They'll get through this. Eventually."

"They're doing a lot better than that guy," he said. "Hey, Jovich, how's your balls now?" he yelled over to the cadet holding himself on the floor.

Alexis giggled a little bit. "You'll have to tell me stories about being at the academy," she teased quietly, kissing him again.
