"It did feel really nice," Alexis said, sipping her water. "First time in subspace, to be honest."

"Nikolai has never gotten you there?" he asked, offering to hold her.

Alexis took up the offer, shaking her head. "Nope. I mean, there's times that he gets me close, but he teases me and tests my willpower more than give me pain."

"Now that you've felt it, you can give him pointers now," he said. "You;re more than welcome to stay the night with me," he said.

Alexis smiled. "I'm probably not going to go to sleep," she said softly. "I typically don't sleep after a fight."

 

[bindingeagle]

"I understand," he said. "If you want to sleep, let me know and I can get you some normal sleeping pills."

Alexis nodded, curling up with him. "Thank you."

 

[bindingeagle]

"If neither of us can sleep, we can enjoy the pleasure of each others' company," he said. "Want anything from the kitchen?"

Alexis shook her head. "No, thank you," she said softly.

"Then let's just lay here until one of us comes up with something intelligent to say," he said, nuzzling his beard against her cheek.

Alexis smiled and curled up, closing her eyes and relaxing, although she was still tense.

As Sergei snuggled her under the blankets, he realized he had another hard on forming in his pants. He was hesitant to bring it up, so he rested with her, enjoying the company.

Alexis felt herself drift into a light sleep, curled up next to him.

Sergei's body couldn't hold up any longer, and he was soon asleep as well.

Alexis woke up a few hours later. Silently, she slipped put of the bed and curled up on the window sill.

Sergei awoke with a start, not expecting to be alone. He saw her in the window and said, "Is something the matter?"

Alexis shook her head. "No, just wanted to see the sunrise," she said softly.

 

[bindingeagle]

"It's very nice," he said, still in just his underwear as he joined her at the window. "The rays light up that tree line across that field."

 

[celestialdragon]

Alexis smiled and nodded. "My bedroom back home shows e sunrise brilliantly," she said softly. "Its gorgeous."

"Sorry it had a bullet put through it," he said.

 

[celestialdragon]

"A bullet?" Alexis laughed. "And it wasn't in my bedroom, they kitchen and living room."

 

[bindingeagle]

"Then my reports were inaccurate," he said, watching the forest light up.

 

[celestialdragon]

"I guess," she agreed watching. "Is Nikolai out of surgery?" She asked a few minutes later.

"He should be, I only shot him enough to lightly graze him," he said.
