"Not much, but slow dancing I can manage," he said, pulling her in.

Alexis smiled and looked up at him.

Nikolai swayed with her for three very long songs.

Alexis smiled the entire time and when the third song ended she kissed him. "This was the best date ever," she told him. "How did I end up with such an amazing, wonderful, sensitive guy?"

"I'm not sure, probabl the same way I wound up with a caring, foxy lady who had the courtesy not to kill me on sight," he said.

She smiled and blushed. "So how's this amazing day and night going to end?" she asked.

"Depends on how you feel," he replied, playing in her hair.

Alexis shivered and smiled. "I feel in love right now," she said softly.

"We could go to bed if you aren't feeling up to anything strenuous," he said.

"Bed sounds fantastic," she said, smiling up at him.

Nikolai led her in and slowly stripped her off. "I like sleeping naked with you," he said, lifting the covers.

Alexis smiled and crawled in the covers that he had lifted for her.

Nikolai made sure she was warm before stripping off himself and climbing in, snuggling with Alexis.

Alexis snuggled into him after he climbed in and kissed his forehead. "This day was amazing," she said.

"Thank you," he said, kissing her back and turning out the lights. "We should do it again soon."

"Yes, of course," she said, closing her eyes and cuddling with him.

Soon Nikolai could stay awake no longer and drifted off in Alexis' arms.

Alexis had drifted off to sleep not long before or after him, she didn't know. She just enjoyed being in his arms.

Nikolai awoke to walk around a little but came back to bed after getting a glass of water.

Alexis hadn't even stirred when he left the bed, but stirred a little when he returned.

"Its fine, go back to sleep," he said softly and stroking her hair.

Alexis gave a soft smile and fell back asleep almost instantly.

Nikolai saw the sun peeking in through the curtains but decided to go back to sleep.

Alexis woke up when sunlight flooded the room and all she did was stretch a bit and kiss Nikolai's cheek.

"Good morning to you, too," he said, nibbling on her ear.
