"What's it like?" asked Nikolai, new to the food.

Alexis smiled. "Absolutely amazing," she said, opening his door. "It's a bit greasy, but that's why I love it."

Nikolai entered and saw the huge portions. "What is that thing?" he asked, looking at a huge burrito.

Alexis smiled. "That is a burrito," she said. "It has meat, cheese, salsa, sour cream, beans, rice, and sometimes guacamole." She smiled. "Is that what you want?" she asked. "Let me teach you how to order," she added. "Hi. Burrito . . . steak. . . no beans. . . no rice. . . mild. . . cheese, please. . . sour cream. . . and guacamole." She held up the finished burrito. "Need help?" she asked.

"You'd better do it, I have no idea what I'm doing here," he said, looking at the vast array of fillings.

Alexis laughed and ordered him a burrito with everything in it. Paying for it and soda, she got them some soda and sat them down. "And now, we eat," she said, picking her burrito up and beginning to eat it, smiling.

Nikolai ate his burrito. "It's pretty spicy. I like it," he said, taking a sip of soda.

Alexis smiled, also drinking her soda. "I figured you would," she teased, taking a huge bite.

Nikolai finished up "That was huge," he said, smiling. "I hope I don't food coma before you get to claim your prize."

Alexis giggled. "You won't know when I claim until it happens," she informed him. She smiled. "Now, let's go home."

Nikola watched the world go by as they drove home. He took all the guns and locked them up. Then, he sat back down on the sofa and flipped through some channels on the TV, looking for international news just in case things had begun to wrap up.

Alexis curled up with him. "Why are you watching for us?" she asked softly. "They're not going to find al Salehi's body for a while, and they'll cover up his death. And Angelica is safe, for the most part."

"I wanted to know if she had made a deal, it seemed a safe bet that some desk jockey would want to act like he had done something and claim the victory."

Alexis nodded and laid her head down on his lap.

Nikolai kept watching, absently playing in her hair. Nothing came on, so he turned it off and returned his full attentions to his beloved.

Alexis looked up at him with a smile. "Got bored of watching the news?" she teased.

"It hasn't come on yet," he said. "Want some ice cream for dessert?'

"Yum. Yes," Alexis said, getting up and going to the kitchen. "What flavor?"

"Got any cherry vanilla?" he asked.

Alexis smiled. "I sure do," she said, scooping a big bowl for him and a small bowl of mint chocolate chip for herself. "Here you go, sweetie," she said, curling up next to him again.

"Thanks," he said, taking a bite. "Even has the real cherries in it. Best kind."

Alexis smiled. "Indeed it is," she said, kissing his cheek.

Nikolai put their bowls in the sink when they had finished. He sat back down and asked, "What now?"

Alexis appraised him for a moment. "Cuddles?" she asked softly. She smiled.

"I like it," he said, pulling a blanket over them. "Cuddles and movie?"
