"I'll be fine once I get breakfast in me," he said. "Being with the two of you is draining, but after tomorrow it won't matter. We should bring this one in alive."

Alexis nodded. "I can do that," she said softly. She kissed him. "What do you want for breakfast, love?"

"Strudel and bacon, with lots of coffee," he said.

Alexis nodded and went out, returning with a large amount of streusel, bacon, and coffee. She smiled. "Please, help yourself," she said, pouring them coffee.

Nikolai did indeed begin to perk up as he shoveled in the food. After his third coffee, he said, "Pick something out for me to wear and let's go see if the Fraulein is walking funny today. I took her ass."

Alexis laughed. "I think we should stay in for a bit longer," she said. "I'll pick your outfit out later." She smiled and sat down in his lap and kissed his cheek. "I just want to relax some with you. . . not worrying about work or Angelica or anything like that."

"Ok, but pick something relaxing and comfortable please." he said. "I'm still a little tense down there." He cuddled with her under the warm blankets.

"I will," Alexis promised, snuggling up with him. "Mmm. . . this is nice." She gently kissed his forehead.

"It sure is," Nikolai said. "We could get another hour of sleep together if we really wanted."

"Mmm, that sounds even better," Alexis said quietly, her eyes half closed.
