"That doesn't help, Nicky," she said, looking at him.

"Okay," Nikolai said, closing his eyes and poking the list on the GPS. "That one," he said.

"Oohhh glow-in-the-dark," Alexis noted, plugging the coordinates in. "Let's get to it," she said.

When they got there, Nikolai was astonished by the place. "How do they do that?" he asked.

"Honestly, I have no clue," Alexis said in awe. "Come on, let's play."

Nikola putted and his ball bounced off the lip of the hole. "I think I went a little hard," he said.

Alexis putted once, and it landed in the hole. "Perfect," she said with a smile.

"Let me guess, you want to wager after that?" he said.

 

[celestialdragon]

"Nah, no wagers. Just pure fun," Alexis said, looking at him.

 

[bindingeagle]

Nikola iplayed the round, although he knew he was going to finish worse. He still enjoyed the course and said, "Where to for lunch?"

"Hmmm. . . what sounds good to you?" she asked, smiling, knowing she had won.

"Mexican wasn't bad," he said. "Let's do it again. The chicken looked good."

 

[celestialdragon]

Alexis found another Mexican place and drove them there. "While what we had at Qdoba's, was good. It's decent Mexican. This is authentic."

"Okay," he said, "Is the menu similar?"

 

[celestialdragon]

"Ummm. . . A little bit," Alexis said. "If you need help with the menu, let me know."

They were led to a cozy booth along the side of the wall.

Some of the menu was in Spanish, so Nikolai would occasionally ask for help. Finally, he decided on the all you can eat tacos.

Alexis decided on a steak burrito with all the fixings.

Nikolai finished his meal, feeling very satisfied. "That was even better," he said. "The hot sauce selection was excellent.

Alexis laughed and ate her last bite. "Yes, it is," she said, smiling. "What next?"

"I chose the morning, afternoon is yours," he said.

 

[celestialdragon]

"Hmmm. . ." Alexis drummed her fingers against the steering wheel before looking at him. "Wanna go to the gym?"

 

[bindingeagle]

"Sure, I could probably use a good workout," he said. "Get the muscles going again after that month."

 

[celestialdragon]

"Well, I want to keep the strength up in my leg," Alexis said, smiling softly.

 

[bindingeagle]

"I'll tpot you on the squat rack," he said, getting his workout towel out.

"That's appreciated," Alexis said, getting out her towel and making her way to the gym.
