Alexis relaxed once she was near Nikolai, and she knelt at his feet, by his side, her head bowed. She listened to the conversation and squeezed her thighs discreetly.

Nikolai saw her reflexively try and cover herself and hurried along the goodbyes. When the Arab had left, he helped her up. "What happened in there?" he asked concerned.

"I'll tell you back in the room," Alexis said. She appreciated his concern. They walked back to their room and she got the shower going, nice and hot. "He used raw ginger on my ass, Nikolai, to make me dance better- or at least, that's what he said. Then he had me suck him and he was done." She was stripping the entire time. "I had to make up some bogus story on how you broke me entirely, lucky I can make up stories on the fly." Naked and the shower running, she got in and began washing herself.

Alexis chuckled, lathering her hair. "It's alright, Rusky, I'm just. . . You know, mission jitters," she said, hoping he'd buy it. Rinsing her hair, she turned the shower off, got out, and began drying herself off. "I'll be fine, baby," she said softly.

Nikolai noticed the hesitation in her voice and said, "We need to trust each other to succeed. Let me know what's bothering you."

Alexis nodded and bit her lip. Wrapping her towel around her, concealing her body from view, she said quietly, "I wanted to cry during a lot of it, it was so. . . so. . ." she struggled for the word, and her body trembled. "Clinical. So cold, no warmth. . . not like there is with you. He didn't even ask if I had a safe word. . ."

Nikolai wrapped her in his arms and held her, letting her know he was there no matter what. "You are safe," he said. "Now what can I do for you?"

Alexis let herself be held, wanting to be close to him. "There's so many things," she whispered. "I guess a good start would be a massage. . . some wine, white please. . . and cuddling. . ."

Nikolai unfurled her towel and said, "Lay down and I'll get the oil. He poured some wine, very strong stuff, before coating his hands and working the muscles in her back. They were already growing tense from stress.

Alexis grunted and moaned from the kinks and knots in her back leaving it. She relaxed a little bit underneath his touch.

Nikolai took great care not to touch her anywhere sexual. After the night she had, it was probably the last thing she would want. He finished with her back, poured her and himself more wine, and pulled the soft, satin sheet over them as they relaxed into each other.

Alexis took liberal sips of her wine and relaxed into him, grateful he wasn't pushing for sex. She poured herself a third glass a few minutes later though, and gulped it down.

"Will you be OK tomorrow?" Nikolai asked. "Wine hits you differently that liquor."

"I'll be fine," Alexis said. "That's my last glass for the night, I promise." She snuggled into him, closing her eyes a bit, just relaxing.

Nikolai played softly in her hair, hissing up and down her cheek. "I am so sorry this has happened," he said. "But we'll get through this."

Alexis sighed and relaxed. "I know, Rusky, but it's a part of this job," she said quietly, leaning into him, getting closer to him.

Nikolai held her, making sure she fell asleep first. Then, he got up and looked over the notes and footage that had been gained that night. He was thankful he hadn't rigged the bedroom, the thought was more than he could bear.

Alexis slept fitfully and at one point, sat up, wide awake, breathing heavily, her skin drenched in sweat. Finding a robe, she quickly put it on and went out onto the balcony, not wanting to disturb Nikolai. Once outside, she began to breathe deeply, trying to calm down.
