I can't see the specific picture but I've looked up Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez on the Internet. What is the story here?

He is one of the richest men in the world. She is apparently a 'pilot and journalist'. He's in his sixties, she's in her fifties. She looks 'glamorous' for her fifties, but then again, it's her wedding day. I don't particularly fancy her - in most of the photos she seems to have a weirdly off-putting large smile. I couldn't say she's ugly and I couldn't say she's stunning. He looks fine as well, although even without what I know about Jeff Bezos, there is something a bit Bond villian about him. If they were a random couple with no other context than the photo, I wouldn't say they were obviously badly mismatched. He's the richest man in the world. She seems to be reasonably accomplished in her field. (EDIT: I've just seen she's apparently an Emmy-winning journalist so let's go with outstanding in her field)

I agree that her face is weirdly large, as if taking too much of her head, but that doesn't change the fact she's hot.

Which is, of course, kind of gauche these days. It's certainly not the type of wife that other billionaires had been going for; just look at Musk, Gates, Page, Zuckerberg, etc. Their wives are nowhere near runway model-pretty.

So, if Bezos is disappointing "the old boy's club," he's doing it in precisely the opposite way to what LC68 suggested.

To be clear, that was kind of my point. There's an argument to say that she shouldn't marry Bezos because he's an arsehole. Otherwise, I'm not sure why they are not well matched.
