Can't post an AV

Okayyyy, just got to 100 posts! Yay, go me!

Problem: no matter what myself or Gilly do, we can't get my profile to take an av, even if it's an av gilly's used on herself before that we know works. Any ideas out there? -looks to the sky above for the benevolent tech gods to answer-

I have no idea why the attachment and avatar databases won't accept images from some people and will accept them from others. I haven't had any problems with attachments and haven't tried changing my avatar, but several others have had problems with both.

To help Manu isolate the problem, have you tried attaching a picture in the last 24 hours? It might be useful to know if the same people are having trouble with both databases.

(A nude of Gilly would be a good test. )

ROFL, no nuddies, but good try. I tried to about 20 minutes ago, with no luck. and since I just broke 100 posts, couldn't try sooner, but they are pics that have worked priorly on another account. wierd, eh? How do I notify whomever without bein' a pain in the ass?

Have you tried attachments too in the last few minutes, or just uploading an avatar? Some people have complaind about not being able to upload avatars, and some have complained about attachments not working -- I'm wondering if both functions are not working for the same people.

You can notify Manu by clicking the "contact us" link at the bottom of each BB page, or by clicking "notify a moderator about this post" on any post in this thread.

I'm sure he's probably aware that there are problems with uploads, but if you can give him a bit more info -- like whether both functions are dead for you or not -- then I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
