Can't find a story... Daddy/Daughter in Cabin

I thank you for taking a look to see if you can help me.

A few years ago I read a great story about a Daddy and Daughter taking a trip to their family cabin. The mother had passed away, and so they didn't go there often.

I remember really well that the daughter was swimming in the lake by the cabin, and started to drown. Her father saved her.

I can't remember much else....

Help, please?
