I can't seem to cum. It doesn't matter if I'm masturbating or with my spouse. If I do cum it takes a very very very long time before I do. I have no problem keeping an erection...it's I just can't cum. Please help I'm a 36 yr. old male that's never had this prob. before.

I'd suggest getting your equipment checked by your GP, just to rule anything like a prostate problem out. Do you ejaculate normally when you do orgasm? Has there been a change in how much fluid you produce or your libido in general? Is there an event or circumstance that has precipitated this difficulty in cumming? Have you checked your penis and testes for lumps or abnormalities? Have you had a recent STD check or exposed yourself to an STD risk?

Is this a sudden change or have you been gradually having more difficulty?

One of the effects of being circumcised can be this.

I had benign enlargement of the prostate. Symptoms were once or twice having pain in the testicles, weak urine stream, taking a long time to pee and having to focus on relaxing, having to pee again right after peeing, and getting up several times at night to pee. Any of these symptoms present?

Best to get to a doctor and have him check you out. Urologist would be my choice.

Also, are you on any medications or do you take any drugs or drink heavily?

If so, you may want to do some research to see if what you take can have sexual side effects and make sure your doctor knows what you're on.

Yeah, you need to see a doctor.

Whilst the whole psychology thing can be important, I wouldn't expect it to affect the masturbation side of things especially given your age and the new development of your symptoms.

Sounds like a plumbing problem.

No way is this is due to being circumcised.

Go get it checked out but don't spend too much time on the internet beforehand.

i would have to say it is a health issue. I do happen to know that hydration and ejaculate go hand-in-hand. make sure you have consumed some water, not alcohol if you think it is a problem. the only times i have been unable to cum were when i am first dating someone i get an erection but cant cum. also occasionally i get a 'pee-rection' during sex and it is nearly impossible to cum let alone very uncomfortable.

When I was put on prozac for some issues I was having, I couldn't cum at all. No matter how much effort was put in either solo or with a partner. The Dr. kept me on the prozac but added Welbutrin as well. Problem solved.

Thanks everyone. I'm not on any new medications & can't think of anything emotionally upsetting recently. If this continues, I'm definitely going to follow the advice & seek help from my Dr.

If this has already been going on for a while (months?), do yourself a big favor and don't wait to see a doctor. Hopefully it's nothing major, but if it IS a more serious or time-sensitive problem, you definitely don't want to screw around with hoping it'll go away on its own. Talk to your doc, and preferably see a urologist, sooner rather than later, just in case.

This article on anejaculation might help you get a general idea on what type of issue you have, potential causes and treatments. Perhaps you could try something like the vibrator stimulation before you see the doctor and read up on the condition a bit so you and the doctor can figure out the potential causes and solutions quicker.

Good luck! :)
