You guys could have warned me and stopped me regarding the extension, told me to remove it from the profile and ask me to stop telling folks about it. This is not a tech support issue.
You were spoken to about this multiple times, even so, we gave you leeway. You were advised, cautioned, and warned in the past about similar behaviors relating to this. You kept pushing the envelope.
Your ban was a 3 day. This was after you fully admitted to creating the item and leaving it on your profile. You could easily have just taken the slap on the wrist, but you made the decision to continue to press the issue by cajoling us.
The Chat Support Forum has multiple sticky threads listed with the rules posted, explanations of expectation, and a link to the TOU. These were cited earlier when Sunny cited both on Thursday at 3:03PM, Post #9.
No one is attempting to "attempt at distorting my helping folks with a little keyboard shortcut." you didn't just break a couple of chat rules, you also violated Literotica's policy on solicitation, you advertised a product or service. You implied and then joked about it being for money, and the area is a very dark grey as far as the Powers That Be are concerned with your creating a Lit specific extension as well. Explaining that you mentioned something publicly in the chat room does not mean we automatically endorsed it or gave you approval. It certainly is not evidence you were asked to do a thing. You are on record in this very forum explicitly offering that you made the extention and listed it to your profile.

Regarding thinking moderating is a joke: You should look over the forum again. Thesunmaid, I, and all of the mods have spent very significant time and attention to designing a forum space that is easy to navigate, and rules that are far more fleshed out than has ever been required by Literotica for us to address. Even then, we also log bans and discuss problems when needed. We even had a specific ban thread for years posted here with the process and steps for reporting a ban concern listed and people still posted their own individual "I can't get into chat" posts multiple times a day.
This is not a conspiracy. You made choices and responded to those choices in a way that resulted in your removal from chat.

@Quip Utter lies upon lies. I never solicited anyone nor sold to anyone. It was a free extension that I wanted at least *one* person to *test*. I never intended to make any kind of money nor did. I never broke any rule whatsoever. It was *in fact* implied that my extension was *okay* multiple times in the Lobby, the mods were only concerned if it was going to change Lit Chat's functionality for everyone.

I’m very sorry you experienced this.

Chat moderation when you are the subject of it can feel unjust and irrational. They are emotional imperfect people as we all are. Not trained for some sort of impartial justice. Definitely not always dispensed with grace or seeing the intent behind actions.
Unfortunately it only makes the bad feeling in your spirit last longer the more you dwell on it. I say focus on the many other more real and rewarding facets of your life.

It’s a psychological trap to be concerned with lit. I see it overall as a poison like unhealthy food or drink. Only partake of it on your terms and very minimally.
It is good only to the extent it connects many people all over the world.
But people themselves myself included,have good and evil within so we feel both those elements magnified on such an anonymous online forum.

I also generally tend to be forgiving of most sins because I know myself quite well too and I’m far from perfect.
Another reason persons in authority should but oft fall short of wielding it with humility and grace.
Also a reason to when you have spoken your piece then to let it go and forgive the persons behind it. Or at least put them out of your mind for your own peace.
I do believe some sites are not sophisticated enough for people like you. Like most systems it is a very flawed platform. Choose not to engage with it. And if you do, don’t take it seriously as you see now how imperfect it can be.

I also understand when you invoke a higher power to ask for justice as you feel it keenly that what was done was not right. Even the best justice systems need astute skilled people to interpret laws correctly according to each situation. And since again we as humans are guaranteed to be flawed each of these systems at a lot of places fall short of perfection.

Due to the addictive nature of chat the ban or being kicked can feel especially painful emotionally. It’s another sad consequence of this kind of site. Time will heal that I can attest from experience. Please friend do not give it that space or importance in your emotions. It’s not worth it.

But I will say your posts and the many responses are very helpful to further tell me and you and others how flawed people and systems can be

The volunteers for security on here have to deal with dark dreadful sins against even children, innocents and vulnerable. We shall leave them to spend their energies and emotions against these worthy fights.

Come then friend, you and I shall link arms and skip away from this, practice our music, paint by numbers even, read about religion and history, exercise till we sweat and are sore, practice gentle faith, hug and plumb the wonderful depths of the minds of family and friends around us, let nature heal.

I think the root of the issue is this - multiple times you were warned and told that what you were doing is against the site rules - i myself told you twice where you gave me a "Thanks for telling me, i didn't know" response.

But despite multiple warnings you continued to do so. Finally the mods decided to punish you for not listening. You decided to feel their action unjustified and proceeded to be bum hurt about it, instead of accepting the punishment and complying with the rules. As you clearly did not accept all the warnings and initial punishment, pretended ignorance and maltreatment - your punishment was extended to long term, as clearly you did not learn anything the first dozen+ times.

And now, after you have been punished, you are suddenly willing to comply and are upset that we are no longer accepting that. Complying was something you should have done the first time warned - not the 20th time and after being given a life sentence without parole.

You had multiple chances to comply, YOU chose to ignore all those warnings and requests to do so.
YOU chose to either not read the rules and TOS or ignore them. YOU chose to ignore warnings and request to stop. YOU chose not to comply.

so now, sadly, YOU must deal with your exile.

I am sorry for you that this is how things came to be. It is a simple thing to listen to the mods when they tell you to stop doing something. Banning people for something that could have easily been avoided is never a fun thing. It is rather disappointing. If you would have accepted what the mod(s) were saying to you and to stop your actions, all of this could have been avoided.
