What device are you using?
For a decade I used a Kindle Fire, and it was fine for the internet, but eventually Amazon stopped supporting it, and over time its software compatibility got worse and worse.
The first sign of major software disconnects was here on Lit, with exactly the type of thing you mentioned. Got worse each time Lit tweaked something in the back end, which we know has been happening since November 25.
My solution in the end was to go buy a Samsung tablet. Now I just have to put up with the fucking temu ads, but at least Tumblr, Blogger, Lit and Gmail still work, which is all I really care about. I got another freebie Word clone, so that works just fine, too, for writing.
