Personally, I would be mad. My privacy is important to me. I want to choose how much someone sees or knows about me.
If the cam was in my room, I would destroy it. If it was a peeping Tom type cam set up outside, I would destroy it in a different fashion. They make some really accurate BB guns. I don't take someone trampling on my rights lightly.

I would use a polaroid camera and take a picture from the camera's POV.
Then set the polaroid photo in front of the camera so that all the camera ever sees is a room in which nothing ever happens.
If you want to be really paranoid, check the rest of the room. You might have been meant to find that camera.
If you wan to be really creative, you have high technical skills and can afford it, you could jack the camera's circuit into a VCR and occasionally play Debbie does The Devil in Dallas, Part 55. The poor bastard monitoring the camera is probably so bored, he would probably appreciate the entertainment.
Or you can just opt for the old fashioned route and use a hammer.
