Some say gutless cowards who try to earn cheap sympathy points by faking a disease that's killed millions.

My uncle, for example, was a lying arsehole from cradle to grave. Rarely would you meet a more loathsome individual. He spent much of his adult life faking disability for the government cheque each week.

He died of cancer.

But as far as Health topics are concerned:

I'd say that a registered nurse like dolf (who has postgrad. qualifications too)
would be far more qualified to make such complex assessments and judge or label people,
than a nurse aid.

Most of us respect nurses aids who show kindness and empathy. A lot more than we'd respect a callous health professional.

But I have an issue with people who (mis)use whatever knowledge or advantage their training gave them in order to attack people.

Here's my assessment. You know what the truth is but are too afraid to jeopardize your standing with the cool kids to voice it. Is that about right?

1. There are no cool kids and if there are? I've never been a cool kid. Not at school or in the workforce. I'm a weirdo and gravitate to other weirdos and I'm ok with being a weirdo.

If the gb had a popularity contest I'd be happy to get a consolation prize for being the most likely poster at a lit get together to be the wall flower.

I posted my opinion in general. Meaning if this thread was made directly about you I wasn't referring to you.

A name was not mentioned by the op and I read this and thought this thread is a spin on the attack alts one I started but it's easy to see now that you think this thread is ALL about you. Is that right?

I'm not a dr or a health professional. I haven't seen your medical history and have no idea if the health issues you have discussed here are real or fake.

I'm making a stand stating if I have an opinion I will post it. If I want to discuss something here I will.

If you or anyone else thinks I'm having a go then I encourage them to say their piece too but I'm not going to stop posting or discussing something in case my so called standing with the cool kids might be in jeopardy.

Uhuh. I didn't attack anyone.

If someone fakes an illness I have sympathy for them. They may be mentally unwell or attention seeking. Either way I assume they're not happy people and I find this sad and hope they can get help or realize that the emotional fallout from their fake illness is upsetting to those who go out of their way to donate money for treatment or being angry because they were maliciously tricked into giving their hard earned money to someone many will think of as a scammer of the lowest form.
